Has anyone had him as a lawyer? What did you think of him? I am going to need a lawyer and thinking of hiring him but I would like to know what other folks think of him. Thanks

Leonard must think he's top notch since I hear he's going to run for Circuit Judge.

Chuck was running for public and was taking money from the Higbee boyscouts to finance his campaign. Chuck hired Gillis to defend him, and some say Chuck ended up doing more time of bad advice from Gillis...so they say..

I've had the pleasure of speaking with Mr. Leonard. He seems very intelligent and would make an excellent circuit judge. His wife is nice too.

Everyone in Moberly has opinions about people and say things that are not always justified. Gillis knows the law and can do a great job. I feel that sometimes he takes on more than he can do to be able to represent all clients equally. But none the less he does know the law and how to work it. Just stay on him to keep on top of your case. I think he would be a much better judge than either we have now. Thay are both in it for the Politics not JUSTICE!

I would have to disagree with your judge statement. I thought Cindy Suter was a nightmare to go in front of at first. I was caught in my addiction at the time. She recomended me go to mid mo.& then complete inpatient treatment and out patient also. When I returned to her court room I was nervous and scared. It turned out to be a very interesting conversation. She told me she was proud of me and prayed I continue to follow the new path I have taken. She had even checked up on me in treatment to see how I was doing. I have never known Cindy on a personal level but would vote for a judge that cared about recovery anyday over a lawyer caught in addiction.

If you have ever been in front of Hayes, you will know he is quick to send somebody to jail or prison. He definately has no qualms in doing it either.

Seen it: Just curious and need help...Any idea how we can get an adult in inpatient treatment? Where did you go for your treatment. It's always a good feeling when someone you least expect to care about you.

Chuck Bankhead didn't want to apologize, saying he did nothing wrong. Gilis advised him to do so. You can't always expect your attorney to perform miracles when you ARE COMPLETELY GUILTY and YOU STEAL FROM THE BOYSCOTTS! Idiots!

You show no remorse, you go to jail.

Mr. Edshit
