All of these people should be have charges brought againt them. Only in Moberly can you be a criminal and absolutely everyone that has the power to do something about it, looks the other way.
Then, they wonder why our town does not thrive! Amazes me.
Oops, sorry, its probably because of the disabled people's messy yards. Not the fact that our City Government is crooked and useless. Not the face that they are gave our money away, not the fact that our Police Force is incompetent.
I was in Jeff City this past week. Moberly is still quite the topic. That is not a compliment. I hear things are coming down the pipeline. Yet, these people are too stupid to see the writing on the wall. Get ready people, its a coming!

What kind of things have you heard is about to happen?
Just a few weeks ago, when the city was told the bank was going to auction off the Mamtek items, the Mayor and the others cried about losing the intellectual property of Mamtek that they still think is worth $50 million. They STILL don't realize they were scammed by a fake company even after filings that show the Mamtek CEO stole the bond money for his own purposes. The flimsy patents, have expired. How can they be worth anything? And the person that estimated the value of the patents was the Mamtek patent lawyer who guaranteed there was a plant in China but was proven wrong in last year's hearings. If they still have faith in this scam, what else will they try to invest in? Maybe a walking path and a bridge that no one will feel safe in using and has no destination but the mayor's Rotary clock tower. The price of that gem is costing the city police officers.

why doesn't the Attorney General order an audit byt the State on the City? Seams there is an awful lot of wasteful spending on new equipment, ie: tractors, trucks, frivolous things.... Seams we could be spending money on things to actually IMPROVE the city

Well, of course there is wasteful spending. You are talking about a Mayor that cannot run his own business, gives our money to some swindler and will just run this town into the ground! My goodness....will the MOberly Madness ever stop?

Don't forget about the stupid ass railroad that thousands of dollars was spent on, that could have been spent of more important items. Thankfully I moved the hell away from that cess pool crooked town.

Its like they are in denial or something.

Did you notice when they were talking big about Mamtek, Riley was all over the paper, thought he was a big shot. Now, that the thruth has come out and we all know that we got scammed....we just do not hear a word.

About the clocktower---wasn't that paid for by the Jaycees or Rotary Club? I am not sure that is was paid for with City Funds. However, even if it wasn't, any other upgrades need to be halted. The City DOES NOT have the money for anymore FLUFF that will not bring in Jobs or Revenue.

I thought someone was going to ask him to step down? Why does he not leave this mess to someone more qualified to do the job- he cannot even run his own business!

He will not step down, he is the type of guy that has to save face and is too dumb to know when that just cannot be done. Our poor State of Missouri....messing with this dummy's mess.
