Had a chevy dealership over in Steak country.
Manion was the owner. If I remember correctly he had a pretty hot daughter.

It's been a few years since I last seen him. Strange is putting it VERY lightly! The stories I could tell you! He is such a momma's boy!
Hey, I thought this was the nice forum...when I first met Jaydi, before the Monte Carlo, he was driving a marroon Nova.
I have not seen him for several years either. Someone told me he now has a Mustang? Dont know, thats just what I was told.

Did this forum die? No posts in the last 17 days. I enjoyed discussing old memories of Moberly and growing up there. Anybody have any new stories to tell?

I remember when a friend of mine, Richard Robinson, opened a miniature golf course on Pig & Bun Road across from Merrill Finley's Pizza House restaurant. It was only open for a short time, but it was fun while it lasted.

Remember what was in the pizza house before it was open. I think Merrill sliced his hand on a pizza cutter opening night and had to close early.

Nope. No H. Now I'm trying to figure out who you're talking about.
Yes, the bottling plant was right next door to where the porn shop is.
And of course, you doubtless remember the porn shop being the JerryDon laundromat, owned by Jerry and Don Orscheln in their salad days, before the old man died. There were a few JerryDon laundromats around town.
Let's not forget Glen Reamy's Shell station across the street. It was a small place that expanded when Morley widened. And the DX station across the street from the bottling plant and laundromat.
I used to rent an apartment from the folks that owned the old bottling plant. Suncrest soda, is that right. that was around 33 yr ago.

Does anyone have any more old stories about living in Moberly? Most of the other discussion topics turn into name-calling and mudslinging contests.

The shop where Skinner's muffler shop is now...I don't remember who owned it, but every saturday night, my grandpa would go up there and play cards.
