It's such a recent event the crash reports aren't even listed on the MO Hwy Patrol's website yet! I heard it was a 30 car pile up.

The name Betty Creed was brought up earlier tonight in a conversation. Never heard the name before, but will mention it in our prayers.

Her name is Elizabeth Creed from Cairo. Her car vs semi. She pulled in front of him. She was not wearing a seatbelt (would not of helped) she was under the car wrapped around the axle of the car! This was straight from the scanner!

Sorry, just found out that she went by the name "Betty" still very sad deal.
Another thing that shocked me is the detail on the scanner! Then again, after seeing what they did, I'm sure I would of made even more mistake's, too!
Is this any relation to Duane, does anyone know?

This lady lost her life and her family lost a loved one and all you can think of is how devistating it was for YOU to see. You make me sick. You getting on here glamorizing yourself by "knowing you saw the coroner pronouncing her dead", whatever. Somehow you think just by driving by this horrible event it devistates your life, poor YOU. My thoughts and prayers are with the family that lost a love one.

I know this family. My husband and the creed's have been friends since they were small children.

I was told she pulled into the wrong lane and was heading directly into traffic. I drove by after it happened and couldn't see anything as it was dark outside. All I saw was about 20 emergency vehicles with their lights on.

According to the Moberly newspaper it sounded like she was in fact driving on the wrong side of the highway and was about to pull a U turn to go to correct direction. But you're right Dokkan, that's not what the MDHP report said. I didn't know the lady but I do know 2 of her grandsons...my prayers are with her family.

My sorrow to the family on their loss. Judging by her driving skills, it sounds like she shouldn't have been driving in the first place. I think by the time anyone reaches that age they should have to take a driving test every year. You should have to pass a test to prove you are still competent and capable of driving and have a reasonable reaction time to be a safe driver.
