Me either. Only thing I knew was about the alleged involvement in the stabbing til I heard it on here. Of course, I also read posts on the stabbing incident where people claimed he was such a good guy. I wonder if they knew about his history. I guess sometimes people get charged for stuff when its not true, which may or may not be the case, but still... Wow. I'm with you on the astonishment that he didn't go to jail on the molestation charge. Think i'll casenet it.

Fusselman has always been easy on sex crimes. Probably offered him a plea deal and lessened the charge. When that principle from Gratz Brown Elementary got in trouble over the kid thing, Fusselman opted not to even press charges. But I can guarantee you write a bad check or smoke some weed and he will crucify you. Molest a kid and he will cut you a deal. I have no use for him what so ever. Hope he is out in 2014.

Chris and molesting a little girl has shocked me. I was around him as a little girl. I do remember some odd looks he gave me but he never acted on them. I didn't realize that look until I was a 'big girl'. I very well know it now! Men can be real dogs!
This just totally creeps me out! There's been a few like this that just blow me away. I hate thinking I know and can be friends with these monsters.

I doubt anyone in prison will bother him about it. The prisons are full of them and Chris can hold his own. He's been down a few times, one of them was probably for this 7 year-old.
He should have never got out!

BEWARE!!!! He is sick!!! He has been molesting boys for years. Many of these boys are now grown men and have come out about the wrong doing that was kept secret for years. He has been accused many many times but nothing is ever done. I dont know what Mike F. soft spot for these kind is but its sad. He spends his time trying to ruin the lives of people writing bad checks to pay their UE bill or honest hard workers enjoying smoking within their own house on their off down time. Lets get the scum off the streets. BEWARE Peabody is out their in your neighborhood riding his bike waiting for the opportunity to lure in your sons.

Fluff was my cousin's mom's boyfriend. She died a few years ago and I am pretty sure he also died a while back.

I am personally speaking of Jeff Collins aka Peabody. I do not know Fluff or Chris and wouldnt want their names tainted. Jeff "Peabody" Collins is dangerous! Beware of him. Dont trust him and never leave him alone with any child!!!!

Country chick, I agree with you that peeing in public should not qualify you as a sex offender. If you read all of the info provided on this site, you can see which type of crime they've been charged with. I believe peeing in public is "indecent exposure". Guthrie's charge was actual sexual abuse.
Your rong, I work At North Village and we have several sex offenders residing there, however sex offender is a very touchy work, you can be charged as a sex offender for urinating in your own yard, I myself do not agree with this term, but it is what it is, sex offenders are not only child molesters, you also have the urinating thing, dating someone younger than you and having a sexual relationship with them and you break up and bam, you raped them, Anyway just wanted to put it out there that sex offender does not always mean rape, thank you :)

You are right... None of us said anything different than you did. We were pointing out how wrong it was to be labeled as such when it was something minor versus an actual sexual assault, molestation, etc and that the offender's registry tells what the actual charge was as well as the date so you can see if it was a teenage romance kinda thing, urinating (indecent exposure), or bonafied sicko acts or assault.

What was his real name? I always thought it was Jeff Collins so is it something else and I have two people from many years ago switched in my head. I remember him being a very nice guy and when I heard this about a kid I could not believe it. Chris Guthrie being a child molester has me shocked but not near like this did.
I looked the Jeff Collins picture up that is accused of this and it is not the guy I remember as Jeff Collins a.k.a. Fluff.
So do I have "Fluff" real name wrong? What would it be. I know he lived on 4th street in the late 90's, 98-99. I generally ran into him at places I was visiting but I do remember going to his house a few times on 4th street. He had a truck my ol'man was looking at.
This has had me baffled for awhile.

Fluff's Real name is Jeff Collins also, but he is heavy set the other Jeff Collins goes by Peabody he is taller , slender dark hair . Peabody is a sex offender Fluff is not. I would never even imagine Fluff hurting anyon. Especially a child. This is the horrible thing about having the same name as someone people can mix u up with some horrible things. Just know Fluff is short and round and Peabody(the sex offender is slender and much taller.

Whew! I thought so :) I knew when I first heard this a long time ago about "Jeff Collins" I was more than shocked!
I didn't know Fluff real well but well enough and he didn't seem to have a mean bone in his body against anyone much less a child.
Yes it would suck to share a name with the likes of this monster Peabody!
The picture I saw I knew it wasn't Fluff. Been along time since I've seen the 'ol boy but I knew that scrawny idiot in the mug shot was not the Jeff I know.

Apparently you think I'm someone you know. My children are grown and have children of their own. I raised all three of my kids. I do not smoke anything not even cigarettes. But I know someone who was molested by Jeff Collins aka Peabody when they were a child. I follow the news in our county and am very knowledgeable on how Fusselman operates. I believe you need a better class of friends.

So you don't write bad checks or smoke weed, but you can guarantee us that fusselman will prosecute for them? Let me guess, you have friends or family that caught those charges and now you get on her telling someone to find a "better class of friends". You say Fusselman doesn't prosecute sex crimes. Funny, because for someone who doesn't prosecute sex offenders there an awful lot in our county who go the charges from our courts. Maybe it wouldn't seem like he concentrates on marijuana and bad checks if randolph county didn't have so many people going around doing those things. Don't act like you've never seen the mile-long lists at a business showing all the bad check writers. Plus, he sends them a notice giving them opportunity to make good on them before proceeding to court... So I'm sorry if that bothers you that he prosecuted after the offender IGNORES the notice saying "pay up or face criminal charges". As for marijuana, get real... Drugs are drugs. Marijuana is no better than the heavier designer drugs. Many people just start off smoking marijuana and move to bigger harder... Hence it is called a "gateway drug". If half the teens in our counties didn't use it, there would be less need for constant pressure from law enforcement to remove it from our streets. Our student athletes are getting drawn into the drug scene now so many schools do the random drug testing now. So good for Mike Fusselman for busting people spending money they don't have and purposefully writing bad checks & for busting people for weed.

You must be perfect. For one thing I had a child why was molested. The man molested 9 children, who were his grandchildren and Fusselman refused to prosecute. So I know from unfortunate experience how he handles these things. And the first gateway drug kids use is cigarettes. Read up, and learn something. And yes cigarettes are full of drugs and harmful chemicals. I don't smoke anything, work about 60 hours a week, pay my bills and obey the law. You seem to have a lot of knowledge on how the bad check thing works. Wonder why? And I would rather my tax dollars be spent prosecuting child molested then someone smoking weed. Get a clue.
