If I have an order for child support, how do I get it enforced?

Where do I go in Randolph County for non-payment for the back child support that I am owed?

You'll need to call the family support customer service for questions. Or go to dss.mo.gov to fill out an application for enforcement. U can print application out from the website or fill it out online. Takes about 21 days for actions to be taken. If u don't have internet access, call the customer service center and they can mail one out to you.

actually worked for the customer service center not too long ago. i've seen/heard so much. in all seriousness... you all need to work out an agreement between yourselves.. because child support enforcement is messy business to get into. the customer service reps are only given limited information and it may seem like your given then run-around. sometimes things cant be done and all is causes is a bunch of drama. theres still no guarantee that you will get your money either. trust me..i quit after 3 months because i didnt agree with the system, which sometimes isn't correct which causes unnecessary harassment and actions.

however.. thats my opinion.

if you do go through with enforcement.. please understand that when you deal with the customer service center, those people really do try to help. its tough listening to how heartbreaking everyones story is and having to tell someone bad news and sometimes nothing can be done. they're the middleman between you and your case workers and can only tell you the information they're given, which, again, is limited. treat them with some kind of courtesy. they're nice people.

Who was supporting your kids when you got 5,000$ behind ? I'm assuming the responsibility fell on the mother. Being that you got that far behind your NO better then a punk or drug dealer. Kids needs have to be met Everyday Not just when the non-Custodial parent can afford it .Point of Info you sound bitter that the system made you Man Up to Your Responsibilities

Let's be honest women don't deserve child support just because they squeezed the little turd out of their puss hole. They opened their legs and willed themselves to get preggo so they should pay for what the little beggars need. Kids aren't that expensive anyway; go to Aldi's and load up on junk food to keep em happy. Bitch's need to pay for what they done

Back in the 90's it was a felony not to pay child support. My ex got hit with 2 felony counts. Now all they do is take their driver's and hunting/fishing license. What purpose is that going to serve? They don't care. The laws definitely need some changing.

So what about the mothers that receive child support and only use 1/4 of it on the kid. Tell me how an unemployed mother can afford to drive a 2011 impala but her kid is running around with clothes from goodwill. The whole system is f***ed. It should be required by law that if the dad is current on his child support that he should be able to see what his money is being used for.

I'm guessing you are a slutbag? I was simply expressing the fact that you should never trust a hole that doesn't require a condom to enter. I used to have to force feed birth control to the bitches I banged; I have assets to protect so they wanted a free ride. I also know of a fellow that paid support for approx. 12 years before he found out the liability/kid wasn't his; did he get a refund hell no and the twat spent all of his money. It's worth a few hundy on a paternity test to save a lifetime of paying for someone else's kid. I'll shut my pie hole if you fumigate yours?

I do not get child support and no one collects back child support for me either. However, as a woman, I agree with you. The person getting "paid" should have to show that the money is spent on the child. It could be the percentage of a house payment/rent/ utilities etc. clothes receipts, etc.

I must admit, a safe car for a child to ride in is important. I would rather her have an 11 Impala under warranty than to be giving all the child support money to joe blow down the street for car repairs on a 06 or 08.

I found this out when my teen had a used car...what we were paying for in repairs could of spent on a newer car... that would of been safer and more economical. AND less down time.

Just something to think about.

I never went after child support as long as my baby daddy stayed away. He moved out of state, I got married, my child has a real father. Grown baby now and happy with own family. Don't punish your child with a part time parent girls.

It takes two to make a baby in case you haven't noticed. Men will themselves to get a women pregnant when they forget what a condom is. Kids aren't that expensive my ass, my son isn't even here yet and my husband and I have already spent a few pretty pennies because he needs the basic amenities. Another thing you apparently haven't noticed is the childhood obesity epidemic. So the assholes that helped make the kid need to own up to their responsibility.

My husband is owed back child support from his ex wife. We have full custody of his children. So not all men are as bad as everyone wants to make them out to be. MY husband was a SINGLE DAD for awhile... and she does nothing to help with the child. She pays absolutely nothing. Doesn't come to doctors appointments or school events. She see's the kids every other weekend and that's it. The kids don't even want to go. She is pretty far behind but we'd let it all go if she signed over rights... honestly I don't think one parent is owe'd child support just because they had a baby with someone. If both parents are involved I don't think it's owed. Now if the other parent isn't involved then yes it helps but don't rely on it to raise your kid. My husband still works a full time job. The kids know who takes care of them and pays for all of their activities and such. To all the dads or moms that are behind.. be a part of your kids life.. it means more than the money.. if you can't be a parent then pay the money.. that's your way of helping!

So, if you have an order in force, do you call over to the Circuit clerks office at the Courthouse and have them let the Sheriff no that child support is not being paid?
