Ate there for lunch today, good food, laid back atmosphere, cocktail area, family dining, all wrapped into one.

Best Moberly Has to offer IMO.

I went in there a few weeks ago and like other resturants in Moberly I figured it would be OK at best. I was shocked at how nice the staff was and even more suprised when I found out that part of the staff we talked with were the owners themselves.
The food was great the service was excellent and the prices were a fair. I plan to go back the next time we have a date night.

I normally go to Lulas but that night they were packed so I tried the corner Bistro and have no complaints at all. Please give these people your business because it would be a shame to lose a great place like this!!!!!

I ate there once. The staff and dining areas were nice but I thought it was over priced. The food was good but for what you pay, I was expecting more. I would much rather have a Lula's burger any day

I went to bistro one time and I didn't leave happy. The hot wings wasn't fully cooked. My other food was not fresh and wasn't as it was described on the menu. When I jokingly mentioned it to my waitress she told one of the owners and she come barreling at me like a line backer with a attitude. A elderly woman sitting near me returned her chili because it was simply nasty which bistro couldn't comprehend. They was drilling the old woman like it was an issue if she just simply did not like it. They obviously didn't want to apologize and take her return. The owner was going and sitting at people's tables she obviously didn't know and had a attitude like this is my place and if your going to eat here you better know me and you better get to like me. Well I didn't like you and I didn't like your nasty food.

I went to On the Corner Bistro for dinner on Tuesday. The food and service was wonderful! The waitress was very friendly. I haven't lived in the area long but I have to say this is by far the best eating establishment I've visited for dinner. The atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxing. If you haven't been to On the Corner Bistro yet, I highly recommend it for dinner and/or drinks!

When judging this establishment remember it has been open only about 120 days... they are working very very hard to make each day a little better then the day before. If you have a complaint about their food or service.... why dont you mention it to them instead of blasting it in public. A group from the St.Louis area owns On the corner Bistro. I recommend you give them a chance and a warm welcome. Support the buisness in this town because quite frankly theres not alot to offer around here. To all of you who enjoy The Bistro i know for a fact they want to say thank you for your buisness and please come back soon!

there are other choices in town even though "dont forget" must have forgot about them, lulas, ricks, luckys, chens bistro, el vaquero, nellys, the brick, santa fe, bubbas, funny pages, wabash, felicia's thats 12 and im sure im "forgetting" some. I do agree support these places for how many times has mcdonalds messed up your order yet you go back time and time again, yet let one of these places mess up once and you write them off.

also in the restaurant business you dont open the business and learn as you go, its not college. so being open 120 days isnt an issue.

Actually, the first YEAR of a new business is to fine tune your market base, product line and such. So, it would be expected that in the first 3 months, there might be kinks to work out. Don't worry, as long as your help is accomodating and not rude about mess-ups, I think people will understand. In the end, if your PRODUCT is good and your service is accomodating, then, your customers will return.
Quite frankly, I would not step foot in some of the places listed above and yet, I just ate at your place for the first time 2 weeks ago. It was really good. Enjoyed it and will go back. Remember, desserts are high profit, simple to fix and store....your list could use a few more. In fact, we did not get dessert because we did not want cheesecake or ice cream. That is a suggestion, not a put-down. However, with time, I am sure you will change a few things. Good luck!

I have gone there several times...with friends and the fiance. My only complaint (but not really) is that they don't have their Tiramisu enough because it is so wonderful! Love their atmosphere in the evening, it truly makes for a nice intimate dinner date. Staff is super nice and right on top of their game. Haven't had a single bad thing there yet!

I ate there ONCE and that will be it. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and it was nearly 8 bucks with chips not fries. The portion was so small that it was completely hidden under the very small bun. This restaurant was started by the woman who was supposed to be the HR manager for Mamtek. I guess she is going to make Moberly residents pay DEARLY for hiring her and moving here for a non-existent job.(Wasn't there ANYONE locally that could have filled this position? Wasn't Mamtek supposed to bring jobs TO Moberly and not hire people from out of the area?) I complained about the prices and the small portions and it got me nowhere but "thanks for giving me your hard earned money and out the door you go!" By the way, how did she get the financing and permits and liquor license and construction done so fast after Mamtek went belly up? It was barely a month after the news broke and there was an article in the MMI about her and her new restaurant. Makes you wonder right?

The restaurant was in the works long before Mamtek went belly up. I saw them doing construction the beginning of last summer. Mamtek screwed over an entire town. I think you're taking your anger out on the wrong person.
