Ive only lived here for 9 months, and at the age of 75, thought I was moving to a better place without all the "Clicks", Different classes of people putting down others, when Mesquite doesnt have that much ot offer, Now dont tell me to move, Iam here for the long run, This city has given me new hope in Humanitities. The corruption, Greed, very regilous groups which want to or do control most of the town, except for snow birds, I just learn today I live on the right side of Mesquite, I live West of the interstate. Wow, for all you that want to put itmes down the orginal city people throat, and the this includes the Mayor on down. Just remember, and yes dont let me foget the regilous groups, If Iam not mistaken for those of us who have One Bible and Possibley those of us who use Two different Bibles, It Says "Judge not that ye be judged".
I believe I have a new begning on writing a book about an beautiful old Nevada town, that has turned into Wanna Be.

I don't know what to say. We purchased property here in 1990 and retired here in 1996. I think Mesquite is a nice place with friendly people. You seem to have a problem with those that have "two Bibles". I find that strange. Neither my wife or I are LDS but we now have many good friends that are LDS.

You wern't specific about what it is you don't like.

I lived in Mesquite for one year, that is, one year too long!

I did move out of town, and left all you suckers behind - frying your brains in the desert heat, losing your paychecks and contracting lung cancer in smokey casinos.
