T-Flats and Gardena-13 have long been at war with eachother, although both gangs are not quite as scary as they used to be. Both are full of wanna-be's at this point. Still, being from Gardena, how did they not know? I agree with the other post, why should we form our lives around theirs....we should be sending them away and making them disappear.

apparently these people have already been successful in running a business, but this is a mistake that would have gotten them flunked out of "Small Business 101"

The gangs are not from Old Torrance. It is the Harbor Gateway area called the Tortilla Flats. It borders Torrance, but has a Torrance PO. It is the area that people say that LAPD is to scared to go into at night. didnt know wrote: I live in Old Torrance and I've never heard of either of those gangs.

didnt know wrote: I live in Old Torrance and I've never heard of either of those gangs. Both of these gangs (G-13 and T-Flats) are active and a headache.(And there is also Eastside Torrance ... among others) When the sheriff's helicopter was shot at a year or more ago, it was a gangmember from T-Flats. Better the restaurant change it's name than invite trouble from T-Flats, and their rival(s). ...although it will be tough to beat LaCapilla's food.

Kungfuzhun wrote: <quoted text> Over priced bomb. Here's a tip: LA CAPILLA puts a special on the board Mon thru Fri for $5.98 (combos plates now $9.45, soup (killer) or salad $1 more). We now call and ask what is on the board special - only go if to our liking. Then on one's birthday, you get a choice of a FREE combo from #1 thru #11 - turns out on my birthday I got a free combo and my friend's was up on the board - talk about getting out of there for CHEAP!!

LA CAPILLA does have an "A" rating posted at the door - never seen a bug there myself (I would be the first NOT to go back if such was true), would have a low rating if the Health Department found something.
