I am cooking a prime rib roast with roasted vegetables, yorkshire puddings, and gravy. I will open a bottle of excellent Italian red wine. I will set the table with antique linen, and I will light candles. I will use the most beautiful wine glasses.I will ponder the strangeness of this thing we call life. I will watch one of my favourite DVD movies after dinner. Yes, I am alone; but that is no reason to treat yourself like crap. I plan on having a very pleasant evening. And tomorrow morning I will make myself a wonderful breakfast, clean the house to start the new year off fresh.
