The Penners have always had good, successful businesses,- and they have employed 100's of good people over the years. More power to them,- and shame on the State of Kansas for "coming down" on small businesses.... Why don't you pick on some big fish,- like the Corporate Pigs in the state house lobby rooms?

I think this company was mismanaged. Sure we've been in a recession but they shouldn't have been operating so close to the wire. Most of those places charge prices that should be illegal. Too bad for the customers but I frankly don't have much sympathy for the company. I think the time for weddings to get smaller was a long time ago. So many couples could have bought a house with what they spend on them. These companies, too, need to get in touch with reality.

You can't take it with you. I plan on making it something to remember for all of them. It's all relative.

Thank you bridal shop stockholder. I have several friends who do have money who had lovely weddings but didn't break the bank on them. Could that possibly be why they (still) have money?
