This type of tactic is long over due. If the employers dont' hire them, they will go back where they came from.

These free loaders have been stealing from our social programs for way to long.

Keep looking over your back, people in this country have had it, and now finally, the ICE is doing something about it.

Keep up the good work!

Racist xenophobic bigots, start your engines!

On a serious note, those that are here illegally should be detained and deported, but they will only come back as long as places like that factory keep hiring illegal immigrants. Fine that factory severely and cause it actually check the background of its employees. You can never stop illegal immigration as long as US companies keep hiring people with no or stolen documents.

It's way pass time that this has happened. Hopefully, this is only the beginning of such visits, and the companies will stop this illegal hiring and use honest American workers to do the jobs, that the illegals are stealing, and we Americans can take care of our families. May this be the beginning of new hiring practices.

if they are working illegally, they are in the wrong... people have been coming to america for years - doing it the right way, why can't they?

Don't detain them! Put them on the nearest boat and send them home! Detain the hiring officials for hiring illegals.

This needs to happen on a very large scale all over the country. We have made it far too easy for companies to break the law by hiring lawbreakers. If this happened more often, illegals would run back across the boarder and take all of their families with them.

36?..36!!? Last summer, when these criminals were parading in our faces, we could have rounded up thousands but chose not to (don't want to get the beaners mad). 36 is like peeing on a forest fire. George W needs to bring our men and money home to start fighting this parasitic enemy.

The article said:

"Hours after the raid, a South Bend church held a prayer vigil for the detainees.
The Rev. Christopher Cox, pastor of South Bend's St. Adalbert and St. Casimir churches, said his parishioners could be among the arrested.
"Basically we are saying these are husbands, wives, children," he said."

The church should also be encouraging their parishioners to obey the lawful rules of the country and state in which they reside.

Are you sure that the undocumented can benefit from our social programs? I work in a field that puts me in the middle of many such appointments and documenation is always requested. I know it is the knee-jerk reaction to shout that illegals are sucking our system dry but I see far more poor whites and blacks than I do Hispanics taking advantage of our social programs.

Well it is about time that this was done. Being a former resident and having friends that have worked at Janco they will tell you this has been going on for years, and that the management knew about it all along. Why is nothing being done to the management of Janco? They are just as much as fault as the undocumented aliens. Sure management will say that they had all the proper paper work and everything checked out according to the law. Why such a high concentration of undocumented aliens? Cause Janco can pay them a lower wage and get there product out and not have to be concerned about them using the company insurance plan, cause then they would be caught quicker. The management has to take responsibility and should be fined a large sum of money to discourage them and other employers from hiring undocumented aliens.

Ditto...
I helped an immigrant serving in our U.S. Navy, while I was his Division Officer,. You have no idea the red tape this guy went through. You know these Illegals have to piss him off. Why go through the trouble and aggravation...three years worth, if there is no recourse that the U.S. Government takes? He went through a lot, learning our language, both written, and spoken, and did it very enthusiasticly. So, for these people that go through what he did to do it the legal way....kick ALL Illegals out!!!

You know that people working under fake social security numbers are paying into the social security fund and but can't draw any payouts later? I'd call that a net gain, not freeloading, at least when we're talking about social security.

If we're going to crack down on illegal immigration, we need to go after the employers. ICE has picked up 35 people, but I want to see what happens to their employer. I bet not much.
