If you live in the area around Mangular and Ontario, where do your kids have to go to high school???? How easy is it to get a transfer? Do a lot of people put their kids in private school for HS?

I think it all depends what stage of life you're in. This place is great to raise a family in. We just moved here 6 months ago and I love it. We bought a big house with a big pool and a big garage. And since the price was MUCH better then ANYTHING in Long Beach we have enough money to fill our garage with toys!! BUT...10 years ago I would have thought it was boring. I used to bar hop and go out alot. Anyway, now I'd rather watch my 4 beautiful kids playing in thier own pool, in their own big backyard, looking at the beautiful Cleveland forrest hills!!

Corona has a murderer on the loose. Two years ago a young man was gunned down. The city has not solved that murder. In 2001 a police officer molested a minor in his car and was fired, do your research Google as much as possible

I used to live in Tustin and I do have to say is nice there. However, Corona is really nice too you get a much larger, newer, nicer parks and schools and it's super clean. We moved here in 2003 and we do not regret it. My boys have done so well in the schools here. In 2005 I became a Realtor and I would recommend this place anytime. Once in a while like 2 times a year you get the smell of horses off the GreenRiver area now Eastvale is a different story it's smell and has lots of flys at times but overall it's nice there. Visit my website and check out the page so you can read up about Corona. www.Casitas4sale.com

Im currently in escrow on a Sycamore Creek home it was a short sale as well it sold for $556 in 05 But now 2012 im getting it for $280 and i work as well in the OC just were the 57 meets The 91 so its only a 30 min drive with use the fast track now i reside in anaheim been here for about 9 years im ganna miss living 10 min from work. Oc is great place to live if you got the $$ and I lease a home that was build in 1928 and my agent took me to my Sycamore creek home I almost Shyyt myself...For Real i could afford to buy in the Oc but why its old gangs, drugz all the stuff i thought i left behind the mexicans leaving thier shopping carts on my lawn I choose South Corona Any Day Hoa fees start to look more attractive nowdays.

Corona / Eastvalr is a fantastic city, been here for 7 years. Moved from Santa Ana..floral park area. My 4 year old son at the time ( while we lived in Ic)had major allergy problems/ eczema . Always sick.. Mostly from all the freeway pollution.. We miss OC Always been an OC girl but would never move back. In fact, my kids would rather smell cow freshness than gas pollution. Not to mention, parking and traffic in OC is also a bust! Schools here are amazing my daughters both graduated from Eleonore Roosevelt HS here in Eastvale/ my son will be entering the newly state of the art junior high Ramirez. Houses are amazing worth the drive out. Great parks/ skate parks / new stores and restaurants. Victoria gardens mall / Tyler mall are convenient.( and affordable since we can no longer afford South Coast Plaza) lol I highly recommend your move to the I. E.:) good luck!

Well- let's be honest. There is a huge difference between North And South OC. There is also a big price difference. I don't think it would be a big deal to move from North OC to Corona...but there are NO gangs or rif raf where I live in South OC. It's is pristine. I would have a hard time moving anywhere else now ( and I grew up in a bad area, so it's not like I don't know the difference.)

Been living in Sycamore creek almost a year now and i love it and i do not miss the Oc its very quiet here nice and nestled by the cleveland national forest i work in oc i work 12 hr shifts im on the road by 455am and im at work by 530am not bad and getting home can take about 40 to 45 min traffic suks but when i get to a home i thought i could never have it changes everything like someone else said it depends on the stage of life your in if your young and love to rip and run maybe not for you but if you enjoy quiet time in the back yard in the hot tub with some nice music and a glass of wine facing the forest then this is for you dont let the drive scare you life is a sacrafice within its self.

Hey everyone,
I've loved reading all the thoughts and comments on here, I'm thinking of moving to Corona from San Francisco. Can anyone tell me what the areas of Rimpau Avenue are like vs. Stoneridge Drive? Trying to decide between a bunch of different apartments in these surrounding areas and it's driving me crazy! Also I'll be commuting to Anaheim, any thoughts of that? I am looking at Corona because of the cheaper rent rates, but will it be worth it if the traffic is forever? Any tips would be appreciated thanks!

The smell only follows where you live in corona. As well as the neighbors. I've been living in corona for 20 years and I find it a little crowded. Some places in Corona can make you shiver and think you're in a gang town, while others you'd think yoh where in Beverly Hills. It all depends on the neighborhood you choose to live in.
