I can't believe they state they will have Loss of 20 billion parcels. maybe its the Poor Servise they deliver to customers. i see some sleeping under tree for hours but thats OK (hum) then they complain its To Hard
if it was not for Ebay they would have gone out of business years back. Many postman complain that they are worked to much. i tell them Wal-Mart Hiring and they get upset
they don't want to give up that retirement they believe there owed. so you cost of a stamp will more than likely double in the next 5 years.
let see the Government runs the Post Office (a Total Loss) and NOW THEY WANT TO RUN YOUR MEDICAL
WAKE UP FOLKS you will have your postal carrier as you doctor soon

the usps is dieing a slow death thanks to email, electronic bill pay, fed-ex, ups, dhl and a bad economy which cuts down on advertising mailers, in 5 yrs the cost of stamps wont double, but post offices will become museums, sure . . . . . .

It really speaks volumes when people like you with such questionable intelligence(see horrific grammar)are opposed to our current government.

So true seen it happen at the Los Angeles Times back in 95 when Ad revenues dropped then the USPS Took alot of ads(coupons) from Papers because the advertiser's found it cheaper to go direct mail and reach more consumers but like you say E-mail.... and today technology'things change as the for the USPS they should have seen this coming a long time ago I did.

Barnesa Chatterfield is puzzled? The U.S.Postal service is under the U.S. governments regulation. They don't turn a profit. They don't turn a profit due to the postal workers receiving good pay and benefits. They don't turn a profit due to competition from Fed Ex and UPS.This is s nutshell to the puzzle.Any entity, private or public cannot pay out more that what comes in.

I think that Industry P&DC is actually much bigger than Santa Ana P&DC. It would be much more room and larger handle volumes if it is going to happen to be consolidated. Beside Santa Ana P&DC already handle too much and more crowd since Long Beach PO mails transfered to Santa Ana this month. It does not make any sense to have another consolidation from Industry to Santa Ana. Instead bring mails to Industry that this bigger place!

You come to Rowland Heights and you can see the laziness of some of the postman. I agree they sit and relax all the time start off firing the supervisors who should know how long each route should take. The mailman now won't get out of their trucks unless they have to, mailboxes and street. Some are hard workers but they are are seen as a whole which is not fair. Lets do something about the supervisors. When I go into a USP Office I want service and not have to wait too long like I have in the past.

I am not puzzled, you are miss informed. The Postal Service is a business for profit and has been for many years. Do you think they would stay open if they weren't making money? Let's be real. Our pay and benefits are contractual rights to all postal bargaining unit employees. The Postal Service must follow Title 39 of the Code of Federal Regulations in order to close or consolidate any of its facilities. You need to educate yourself on the issue before you start speaking with an ignorant mind!!!

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Scorpio

It will be easy to let things get on top of you today, especially if you're already feeling rather tired and listless. Do yourself a favor and keep away from anyone who often makes you feel a bit fed up or defensive, because they're the last person you want to be around at the moment. They'll make your spirits sink down to your ankles in a flash, and who needs that?
