Don Galleano deserves alot of credit for preserving and promoting the old Cucamonga zinfandel vines. He is an expert known across the country for growing zinfandel grapes and he and Dennis Pap work with wine makers from around the world that favor Cucamonga grapes. Good story Mr Nisperos with one correction - both Galleano Winery and Joseph Filippi are post Prohibition era winerys - established in 1933 - '34. Area vineyards of 500 acres = approximately 1,500 tons = 195,000 gallons.

Keep up the good work with zin Galleano winery. What a shame however that the valley's agriculture has been wiped away by morally bankrupt developers and politicians. Pitiful.
