After listening to the yankees around here brag about " NO SNOW IS GONNA STOP US FROM GOING OUT" and then you here the mayor of nj on the news stated " If you are stupid enough to go out in this storm after being told to stay off the roads, dont call 911 to come get you when you wreck" Sounds like he knows he lives in a state with a bunch of stupid people.

They just said the mayor was pleading with residences to stay off the roads unless it was a emergency. Lord! COMMON sense would tell you to stay off the roads! Thats the key there. COMMON SENSE. They dont think about the emergency workers who they will put in danger because they do not have the COMMON sense to stay off the roads! Who they gonna call when they go out joy riding and wreck and get hurt? 911!!! And then, because of their stupidity, they put someone else in danger.. Lord. Where is the COMMON SENSE there????

In the upper elevations of Colorado, most places have at least four feet of natural base and five or six inches of fresh powder each morning.

All we have down here is rain and slick roads, and real dumb candy-asses who don't know how to drive on 'em but think they can.

I live in Connecticut and there are not many who whine or complain about the snow to the extent that the news is reporting. We choose to live here and understand that its pretty much part of our lives. We wait for it to stop, clean it up and go on with our lives. And just so you know, when something bad happens, like a hurricane or tornado, to those of you from the south or midwest we do not revel in your misfortune but rather pray for your safety and return to comfort.
