Shift funding from Prairie Parkway to Rt. 47?

U.S. Rep. Bill Foster acknowledged this week that he wants to move funds from the Prairie Parkway expressway project to be used for improvements on Route 47 through Kendall County.

The Prairie Parkway needs to be build to carry commercial truck traffic through Kendall and as a landing site for industry. Too many noisy and dirty trucks go through Yorkville. If it is not built Yorkville will lose the chance to be a destination and place to live in Kendall and simply be a truck stop on the way from I88 to I80. If you want your property values to go up in Yorkville vote Foster out!

It needs to be built to ease the mess on I-55 as well. This project should not be tabled.
