You can get a free 15 day AMF label creator trial & if you like it, it costs around $30.00 to buy.
The Avery Template doesn't work with the Dollar Tree labels. Yeah I used the search engine & found the templates but they don't work at all with these labels. try the above info & see if that works for you.The AMF label creator is easy to use & a fast download. Hope this helped.
Hello. I am a newby with these labels too. How do i find the AMF prgram?? Thanks

Come on you all! I am working on a template right now. I'll take the hit of having to use one sheet to build the template. I'll let you know when I am done with it.

You can make avery 8931 template work with printer creations labels. Just cut 3 1/2mm's thats almost 1 1/2 inches off the case spine label side of the printer creations label. Insert it in the printer with the cut off side to the right and print!!! It Works.
Well, it works OK as long as you don't add a background. The bottom label isn't quite lined up. But if you just want a label without a background it's fine.

Works for me as well. Besides, what's all the fuss over one or two lables. I think I can spare a few as the end cost is apx 70% less than that of Avery or other comparable lables.

I use this C D cover creator because it is easy to use and can make not only CD labels but origami CD cases and paper sleeves.

I agree............The Acoustica CD/DVD labeler program is fabulous for the dollar tree labels. The 20 dollar cost is well worth it.

to use the dollar tree cd/dvd labels - go into your printer settings and choose page set up >the cd label option>adjust label settings - you can change the margins how ever you want>run a print on plain paper to test margins

I love the Dollar Tree labels for CD's and their 30/page address labels as well. As for the CD labels I began with an Avery template and then had to tweak it. It took me maybe 30 minutes but soon I was up and running.
I didn't see these labels at the Dollar Store most recently. I hope they continue to carry them. It's sure nice to not pay $25.00 or more- Avery's price.

I bought the CD/DVD labels from dollar tree and love them. I too had a hard time trying to get them to work at first. But I found a very good solution that works very well.

First download the free version of Avery DesignPro Software. Link below.

Once you have downloaded and installed Avery DesignPro software. You will now need to calibrate the printer setting in DesignPro. In the Printer calibration screen. Leave everything set to the default. Set the A (horizontal) to 35 and leave the B (vertical)set to zero.

Now this will offset the printer so that the software will print correctly when you select the 8931 templet in the design Pro software.

Note this will only allow you to use the CD/DVD round labels on the sheet. The other labels on the sheet are pretty much useless.

Hope this helped,

I use Doller Tree CD/DVD label Paper and when I use AMF CD/DVD label maker, on the layout I click on Creations by Jot & this works better that what I'm supposed to be using,(Avery 8931). It pays to just see what works. I haven't ever tried Jot paper. The Doller Tree paper costs $1.00 for 30 labels, so I love it!
I bout the same labels> What program did you use to create the labels. The one in Word only allows for one labe but the paper has two. Thanks.

I also bought that packet of labels from the Dollar store. What program did you use? The Word template does not allow for two labels, only one. Thanks.

I use the labels from dollar tree with acoustica, it works perfectly. You can use the Avery8931 templeate and edit it to fit exactly. Using this labeler you can move the position of the objects on template and then it will save the settings once you have them the way you like them. Great program to add your on picts for backgrounds.

Acoustica allows you to edit any template to fit the labels. I use the avvery8931 then move the objects to fit the paper I am using. It automatically saves it after you have it set the way you want.
