This gets back to the health care debate and the reason why government intervention here makes a lot of sense. Our health care system is broken and has operated under market principles since the dawn of mankind. We've given these guys numerous chances to do right by us. They can't do it. They won't do it because they are too greedy to do it. The government can't be so greedy, because when they get to greedy, as witnessed last election, we simply vote the buzzards out and elect hopefully more responsible people to run it. These private insurance companies and doctors and hospitals are under no such obligation to treat us fairly or listen to our suggestions. And because they all pat each other on the back, competition does very little in changing any of these organizations. You can't find a better insurance provider cheaply because they are all in on the fix!!!! Health care is like buying gasoline. Sure one pump might be 5 cents cheaper, but they ALL are charging around 3 bucks a gallon. Not one of these gas stations in the market has said, hey, I'll charge 1.00 instead of 3.00 so I can beat the competition. They are all in on the same fix.

Why aren't they rating teachers?

Can't they find a scale that goes low enough?
