Provided the 'i' was intentional (an obvious attempt to remain congruent with the rest of the typo-rife articles), I'd say you have a fighting chance.
Good luck!:o)

I'm amazed this doesn't happen more often. Minnetonka, like many other larger metro area lakes is ridiculously overcrowded. It's too bad there isn't a way to keep the numbers down, especially on weekends. It seems to me that if we can limit the number of people accessing the BWCA through permits something similar could work here.

The traffic is heavy at times, it's the booze and speed, that cause the problems. Boats don't have a brake pedal, slow down.

On Lake Minnetonka there is a definite need for more law enforcement. This coming from a lifelong resident who has seen the problem go from bad to worse in the past few decades -- as people with lots of money and without a clue of how to drive a boat move here. I would be willing to place a very large wager that if you were to stop boats at random and ask drivers about traffic laws on the water -- and Mtka has some that are specific to this body -- they would not be able to give you correct answers more than 40% of the time.

We also need greater control of personal watercraft on Mtka. They've gone from being a nuisance to being a public safety hazard.

Let the government take control of the lake and one way to decrease the traffic is to allow only people with property on the lake to have access or have X number of permits for the lake and say charge a couple of thousand per season.
