The MMA Director now knows what it feels like for Medical Records to have Incorrect material in them that can be damaging and insulting to a person/Patient. And when the Patient tries to rectifying this problem through the appropriate HR Dept. they are denied by that same Doctor who has a control problem and needs sesitivity training. If it's wrong, Change it! Seem's they feel unfairly judged, but have no problem scarring a Patient.

Only 1/3 of all docs in the US are AMA members. This means the AMA does not speak for the majority of physicians and certainly not for me. Bring on the data; why not let consumers choose based on good information?

It would appear that Medica is ready to ask the Government for more H1 MDs that do not speak the language. Another form of cost control to insure the Execs bonuses.

It appears that the general public cannot view this info and only the actual Doctors can sign up to view it? If that is correct, then once again paying patients are denied transparency so they can pick a Doc they may be comfortable with.

The Doctors That Get No Rating. Are'nt Paying Enough Money!
seems foolish

The whole thing seems a bit foolish. Ranking doctors? Saving money? Isn't it bad enough that a doctor is only allowed to spend 15-20 minutes with a patient and they have to walk away with perfection? I for one do not really care about this "ranking" program and if my provider were to purchase this "computer" program then its time for me to shop around.

Doctors better watch out. First the teachers are being rated, now the doctors. Politicians want to freeze teacher salaries, I guess the doctors are next. Lets get a rating system for Politicians. And LOWER their salaries and cut their pensions in the future because they left a big deficit. If public pensions are out of control, how come NONE of the politicians don't withdraw their money and invest it in their 401s.

So we should believe that jerk company that paid 1.2 billion to its CEO? The ones that stole money from Medica payers and funnelled it to the profit United Health side of the business? The ones that paid millions to lobby against the public option and single payer?

How much do you bet that its cheapest quick killing docs get a great rating and other HMO's and outside the system docs get the raspberry.

These doctor lobby groups have been saying the same thing about all reviews and ratings of their services for years now. They want to work in an unaccountable environment plain and simple.

These lobby groups only have influence over health insurance companies where they have more leverage to censor them. Fortunetly independent websites like HealthcareReviews.com are free from doctor lobby group influences (although they tried) and we can always find patient reviews there.
