Minneola aims to boost water conservation

In an effort to encourage water conservation, City Council members today are scheduled to discuss increasing water rates for residents and businesses known as "high-end users" - those using more than 13,000 gallons a month.

Minneola conserving anything is a joke. It is a win win situation for them. They make more money on selling the water, and if people really do cut down it just means that can bring in more people.

Funny I was in attendance for the meeting and I don't see any conservation in raising fee's. Like the city manager stated in the meeting he sees people watering their yards on off days then why doesn't Code Enforcement do something about this? The city manager can micro manage the fire dept but not public works?
