You need to get out more. The vast majority of bank branches do not utilize human guards. They rely on cameras and alarm systems that are directly connected to the local police departments. Even where I work, there is electronically controlled access. No guards. If I come in after hours, my badge not only lets me in, it disables the alarm. I am one of about 15 or 20 people who have this kind of access. The rest of the employees would not even be allowed to enter after hours. If the alarm is set off, police are notified and usually there within 5 or 10 minutes.
