NO WORRY, We raised taxes on those making more than $450,000 so that shortfall should be taken care of!

"City Clerk Casey Carl told the City Councilís Elections Committee on Wednesday that heís short $385,000 of the nearly $1.7 million thatís needed to properly run the more expensive ranked-choice voting method the city uses for municipal elections."

5 times more expensive. And the Libs love that, right?

Yet, weren't they the same people who said it would be too expensive to show an ID to prove who you are in the 2012 Ballot Initiative?

Good question, Dumbo Jr. I read the article, did you? If so, then you tell me what was meant by 5 times more expensive and then I will probably agree with you on something.

So the City, in it's infinite wisdom, decided they didn't want recounts and went to the rank voting procedure. The city was told the cost would be more, in fact, it would be more expensive than the old way, with a recount. But the city, along with St Paul, I might add, decided this was they way to go. But, as I indicated earlier, the additional taxes now being paid by those earning over $20,000 via the payroll tax renewal, will eventually pay for this small problem.
