Shooting reported in Browns Valley

Authorities responded to a reported shooting Sunday morning in the Browns Valley area, according to the Napa Fire Department.
Members of Napa Fire and American Medical Response responded at 11:35 a.m. to reports of gunshots on Vassar Drive, according to Napa Fire Capt. Pat Wamsley. Personnel found a 16-year-old boy with leg wounds from at least one bullet, Wamsley said.
The teenager, whose name was not immediately available, was taken by AMR ambulance to Queen of the Valley Medical Center, according to Wamsley. Further details were not immediately available.
