Kids go hungry on the streets of Minneapolis. But that city sure has some of the purdiest studious around. MN Twins + Univ of MN + new Vikings + MN Timberwolves.

Guess we know where the DFL politician's priorities are. Right?

The DFL is no less guilty of corporate welfare than the Republicans. In fact, they seem to be getting better and better at it as time goes by. What was that business venture you wanted them to fund for you? Seems like a good time to ask since they apparently have plenty of capital lying around.

Welfare is welfare, what type just depends on votes or campaign contributions.

I do disagree with you cant, although it may just be my rose colored glasses and my personal "hope & change" that the Conservatives are not as big a hypocrites and the Libs.

Note that I used the term "Conservative" since there is a difference between a Republican and a Conservative.

It can only be the Government Schools that have created the level of ignorance that is dominant in Amerika today.

97 Million Dollars! For a building where the activity in the building, could be carried out in a $200,000 Pole Building.

I will not elaborate on the "Game" that this building is used for, but I will say that there is no bigger Collective of Thugs, Criminals, and Illegitimate Fathers than Amerika's "Professional" (gag) Athletes.

The neighborhood where this Building is located, is one of the most dangerous place for Peoples of all Color's, in the Urban Cesspool.
Will 97 Million make the place any safer for the "folk" that pay for the space, to visit their "investment", and enjoy their "investment"?

97 Million Dollars could be "redistributed" at a rate of $250,000 to 388 citizens, for them to start a small business, and grow the economies of their neighborhoods. BUT......the Corporate Heads in the Unions would not be enriched if this were to happen.....And of course, the Demokrat Union Corporate Pigs are all about "The Working Man".

I blame the Government Schools.

I will concede to your semantics. Except to say that a number of so called conservatives were all about building a vikings stadium with public money, which included new taxes to do so. And on a higher level, had no problem bailing out any number of banks, businesses, corporations, etc. So I'm not too sure that there are any conservatives in office any longer that can't be compromised for the right price. But then again, I am kind of jaded.

"so called conservatives"

You can call yourself anything you want. But that does not mean you are what you say you are.

I have never supported a government bail out of any private sector business. If you support a bail out, then you are not a Conservative.

I was not referring to you sir. I was referring to Congress, the Mn Legislature and most everybody else in an elected position. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I am well aware of your stance on bail outs.

I did not take offense and apologies if it appeared that I took it personally.

As much as anything, I was simply making a statement to the many on here that think John McCain or George W Bush are good examples of what Conservatives support. They and all the other so-called Conservatives really ought to just fess up and say they are Conservative when they think it will get them elected, and Liberal the rest of the time.

Most of the upgrades are to the suites. You know, so they can make more money at the expense of taxpayers. Lets not forget the union jobs. If it were not for government spending, there would be no union jobs because they are not competitive.
