Once again, political correctness, zero tolerance, and attempts to socially engineer a childs fantasies runs amok.

It's "child's" fantasies and the posted rules.... Oddly, you want kids to learn in school, but also want NO RULES ??? Oh, it's a violent kid, so THAT appeals to you, right ?

What's next, freedom for 4 year old kids to smoke ?

Kid used an imaginary grenade to save the world, you post with imaginary brain cells. Topix doesn't suspend you. Go figure.

It had nothing to do with guns, can't you read ??

"Man", now you're pro-grenades ??

Funny, you BOTH railed against violent video games and this next step isn't ANY problem ??

Sure, school is to teach kids to emulate BLOWING UP PEOPLE !???

Only a teabagger, "couple"...

have you seen some of the lists of what is banned in various schools? for their zero tolerance craziness.
.
http://www.akdart.com/zero.html A third-grader at Brazos Elementary was given a week's detention for possessing a Jolly Rancher.
A 13-year-old was handcuffed and hauled off to a juvenile detention for burping in class
.
http://www.thisistrue.com/zt.html School officials were not impressed, and not only upheld the half-day suspension, but told the boy's mother that a child who brings candy to school is comparable to a teen who takes a gun to school.
.
it is downright insane. some other schools have a zero tolerance for being tardy and or absence. for a while, even my daughter's school had it for things like the weather. we were not allowed to keep them home if we felt it was too harsh to be outside. it used to be a unexcused absence if we kept our kids home if we felt it was too cold windchill wise.
.
some others it is things like hair. boys in those schools have to have hair as short as boys did prior to 1965.

Your inability to understand what is written is dwarfed only by your stupidity.

Next time the kid should bring an imaginary nuclear bomb to school and blow it off.

He threw the pretend grenade at an imaginary box that had something evil inside.

He was going to save the earth this way, and when he threw the grenade he pretended that the box exploded, in apparent success.

This kid needs to go to school in New York City. He can throw his grenade, tell the teacher to F off, and than light up a smoke.

Naaah. Send him to a California school where he can tell the principal to f off, play his little hand grenade war games naked, and be rewarded for his artistic expression. Probably even get a scholarship to Berkeley. He would then do his graduate studies in Paris.
