When I was fifty-two
It was a very weird year
It was a very weird year of Tea party girls
And twisted extremes
With their right wing dreams
They didn't have a clue
When I was fifty-two
But now the days are short
We're in the autumn of the years
And now I think of this place
As Wonder Bread turned green from mold
To rocks from gold
We were gripped by fear
It was a very weird year....

Is it legal for me to wear my union Jacket to vote?

How about my "Miss me yet?" t-shirt?

Neither tells anyone how to vote; nor does a request to be ID'd.

I do plan to show my ID - requested or not. It just makes good sense to do so.

How come the loonie fringe always uses "majority" when naming themselves?

Of course the Tea Party has been endorsing certain candidates! Either they are ignorant of their own party or deliberately lying.

Most unions endorse candidates (Fire Fighters, Policemen etc etc.) Does that mean those people can't wear any union insignia anywhere on their body while voting???? Just wondering how strict these voting regulations are? Or is it that they are just selective in how they are applied.

Sorry folks but you can campaign within a certain distance at a polling place.

Even if you agree with this topic.

Let's face it we as people need to " change the diapers in Washington DC and local offices "

I have always shown my ID at the polling place. I thought it was a requirement. Maybe I'll test the waters and not show it this time and see what happens....

But it's just fine for the first lady to be directly in the polling place telling people that her husband's agenda must be continued, even though it's in direct violation of IL law. I have also seen lots of people wearing actual campaign buttons (mostly for DFL candidates) in the polling place. Will they be cracking down on this also?

Statist Keith Ellison crashes THEIR press conference and HE feels intimidated? poor powerless Keith. Better have your driver take you back across the river.

I want to know why these buttons & shirts are campaigning? There is no ID ammendment on the ballot and no candidate in MN carries an endorsement from either of these groups.

Of course, the champion of fair elections, Mark Ritchie, is not available.

I agree with you 100%! I have always shown my ID at the polling place also. Matter of fact I usually see the voting judge compare my license to the voter rolls that I sign. So if I understand this right it's illegal to ask for my ID at the polling place when I vote? I still have not heard a valid argument from socialist democrats as to why it's such an issue to ask for photo identification at the polls when voting. As for you liberals who say that not everyone has a picture ID? Even if you don't drive a car you can get a picture ID at any license bureau. Let's be honest, how many people do you know that don't have some type of photo identification?

Why would anyone object to making sure people who vote are legitimate voters and voting only once.

Who objects to that?

You have got to be kidding. There is nothing that MN Majority does that is not political. Everything they do has a Tea Bagger bent to it.

If the Courts allow this, then they should allow Progressives to campaign in the polling places also.

80%+ of minnesotans agree with you. But DFL politicians don't like it. They make you provide an ID (tracked in a computer database, no less) to buy antihistimine, but not to vote?
