School Children Taught About Gay Foreplay, Saran Wrap
A school district in Maine is apologizing after middle school students learned about homosexual foreplay during what was supposed to be a “Diversity Day” presentation.

The principal of Gorham Middle School sent a letter to parents apologizing for the graphic nature of the presentation by PRYSM, Proud Rainbow Youth of Southern Maine.

“They went beyond the scope of our intentions and discussed topics that we do not deem appropriate for our middle school,” Robert Riley wrote in a letter obtained by The American Journal.“We do not intend to expose them to ideas that are not within the scope of our teaching about responsible citizenship as it is embedded in our code of conduct.”

The incident occurred two weeks before the state voted to approve gay marriage – and involved a classroom of 25 eighth graders.

Howard’s 13-year-old son was one of those who came home shocked by the presentation’s graphic nature.

“They were talking about sex and if you didn’t have a condom – saran wrap could be used in place of a dental dam,” Howard told Fox News.“It was all new to me.”

Howard said the PRYSM presenters also cursed and questioned whether the children had been taught about safe homosexual sex.

James Hagen, chairman of the school committee, told The American Journal that teachers felt uncomfortable about the presentation and reported it to the principal.

“Teachers were in such shock,” he told the newspaper.“Everyone just froze.”

Principal Riley defended the way the teacher’s handled the situation – noting that the conversation about gay foreplay happened near the end of the presentation.

“I think if it had gone longer, they would have intervened,” he told Fox News.

He said the school is taking steps to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

“This particular day didn’t have anything to do with sex. It had everything to do with tolerance and kindness and trying to eradicate from our building the idea that it’s okay to be mean to each other,” he said.

Howard said the fact that teachers did not intervene was incredibly disturbing.

“It was a gay diversity class that was supposed to teach tolerance,” she said “When it got further than that somebody in the room should have stopped it.”

Bob Emrich, of Protect Marriage Maine, said he wasn’t surprised by the content of the so-called “diversity” class.

“Homosexual activists rarely advertise that they are going to indoctrinate children to their point of view,” he said in a statement.“It’s done under the radar, through mandatory ‘diversity, anti-bullying and tolerance’ lessons.”

“If there was any doubt that gay marriage would be taught to young children in Maine schools just as it is in Massachusetts and Canada, that doubt should be removed now,” he said.“If they are willing to teach our kids how homosexuals engage in foreplay, do you really think they won’t force gay marriage instruction of young children when it is the law of the land?”

Now, parents across the town have been forced to have some unusual conversations with their children.

“It did create conversation in our home that technically we wouldn’t have had,” Howard said.“My child knows his identity.”

She’s also informed her son that contrary to what PRYSM said, saran wrap should only be used to protect food.

“I’ve had to let him know that no matter what situation he gets in – my suggestion is not saran wrap,” she said.“My suggestion is to abstain altogether.”

Abstinence was not mentioned in the class.

She plans on airing her concerns at tonight’s school committee meeting.

“We’ve gotten away from reading, writing and math,” she said.“We’re graduating children that can’t read.”

But at least in Gorham, they know what to do with saran wrap.

Did School Promote Communism over Capitalism?
Jeff Travis owns a small business in Des Moines and he is absolutely furious at a classroom flier that his son received from his high school social studies teacher.

The flier, given to students at Roosevelt High School, features a cartoon and slogans that seem to promote communism over capitalism.

“Communism stands for equal sharing of the work according to the benefits and the ability, but in capitalism an individual is responsible for his works and if he wants to raise the ladder,” the flier stated.“While the profit of any enterprise is equally shared by all in Communism, the profit in the capitalist structure belongs to the owner only.”

The cartoon represented capitalism by featuring an overweight businessman smoking a cigar while his workers were shackled. On the communism side, the cartoon showed happy workers earning loads of cash.

“I’m a businessman,” Travis told Fox News.“I took great offense. I don’t smoke big stogies. I don’t have a big gut. My employees are not shackled. If this was a fair representation, where is the fence around the workers on the communist side? Where is the guy holding a gun to their heads saying either comply or die? Where are the bodies that Stalin and Mao put in the graves.”

Travis said he spoke to the principal of the school and asked for an explanation. It’s been nearly a week and so far – he hasn’t received one.

“I couldn’t believe how slanted it was,” he said.“It wasn’t given as an example of propaganda. It was given as an example of capitalism and communism. I can’t believe they would hand out something like that.”

Travis showed the flier to a customer who happens to work at WHO Radio – a Fox News Radio affiliate. That customer gave the flier to Simon Conway, who hosts a local talk show.

“The flier seems to promote communism over capitalism,” Conway said.“We’re all horrified. We don’t want this stuff taught in our schools.”

A spokesperson for the school system confirmed the flier had been distributed in a classroom. However, additional questions were referred to another staff member – and so far – calls to that individual have not been returned.

However, school officials did post a statement on their website Friday afternoon, accusing WHO of misrepresenting the flier.

“It is unfortunate that a talk show host decided to mislead his listeners in order to generate false criticism of our schools and our teachers,” the statement read.

School officials also provided a link to what they said were additional documents given to students. However, the link was not activated – and a school official told Fox News that the web materials were not yet available.

As for the flier that students in the social studies class received, the school said:

“Furthermore, the class, 20th Century History, was studying the Cold War and propaganda, looking at some of the arguments both sides made about why their system was best on a range of topics, including their economies,” the statement read.“The handout simply highlights the differences between capitalism and communism, and some of the arguments made during the period of the Cold War.”

Conway said local residents are outraged.

“We ended up doing a full hour on this topic,” he said.

Travis said he never wanted to cause the school or the principal grief or frustration. He said he just wanted his questions answered.

“I’m concerned about the slant I keep seeing in the school and I’m tired of it,” he said.

Last year, Travis said an Occupy Wall Street protester was invited to speak to 12 and 13-year old children at his son’s middle school. When Travis found out, he asked to sit in the classroom.

“I was amazed they would allow someone like that to come in and talk to the students,” he said.“He came in and said how evil the military is and how he used to respect the police and how he doesn’t respect the police anymore.”

Travis said it no one was there to refute the Occupier’s allegations.

“I told the principal I thought it was pretty egregious that they would bring someone like that in but the principal didn’t think there was anything wrong with it,” he said.

Michelle Obama Worried Liberals Too Stupid, Too Dependent To Vote?

It's a hard life being a liberal. You apparently don't know how to do anything. Worse, not knowing how to do anything prohibits you from voting for your fellow liberals. Don't take my word for it. Just ask Michelle Obama.

In an impassioned plea to her husband's base, Michelle laid out all the reason why liberal loyalists had to get out early to vote: "You wake up on Election Day – you might have a cold, babysitter gets sick, it’s raining, car broke down, I mean I could go on – toilet overflowing. There are so many ways to mess up a day when you don’t have a lot of time.”[1]

Gee, it almost sounds like Michelle Obama is worried that God has it in for her husband. What with all these potential calamities she envisions befalling his minions. Damn that evil God person ... Michelle always knew He was an evil Republican!

Seriously though? An overflowing toilet prevents you from voting on Election Day? Ok, how about this? You shut off the water and stop the toilet from overflowing. Well GOLLY! Gee, never thunk about that ... a-yup!

Then, after turning off the water, get your butt down to the polls, vote, then come home and deal with the toilet. Or are Obama's core supporters unable to figure this out? It's a rhetorical question. The answer is obvious.

Babysitter calls off sick? Uh ... just a thought here, but how about getting neighbors or family to watch the kids? Heck, you could just take them with you. Kids are allowed to go to the polls, in case you didn't know.

You have a cold? A cold? Gee, I'd be more worried about something more serious, like cancer, sidelining me. Because a "cold" is hardly going to stop someone, who wants to vote, from getting to the polls.

It's raining? Hmmm ... how about grabbing an umbrella? No, apparently that's too difficult for the average Obama voter.

Car breaks down? Well, isn't that what your "Obama Phone" is for? Call someone to come pick you up! Or, perish the thought, you could just walk.

Like I said, it sure is tough being an incompetent liberal who doesn't know how to do anything. If I had to rely on these sorts of sorry souls to do something for me, I'd be worried too.

What happens to all those voters who have a cold on election day but didn't vote in advance?

Don't we need a process for those who planned to vote on election day but couldn't?

One with average IQ would quickly realize there is something corrupt going down.

College euthanizes ox at center of uproar
POULTNEY, Vt.- After weeks of uproar, it turns out neither of Green Mountain College's team of oxen will be eaten.

In a statement Sunday, college officials said that the ox named Lou had been euthanized due to a recurring injury to his hind leg. Officials said Lou's partner, Bill, will stay on at the school farm and "receive care consistent with appropriate livestock practices."

Bill and Lou were retired this summer from the college's working farm. The school planned to slaughter and serve the animals in the college dining hall. But the decision drew fire from animal rights activists who wanted the oxen spared. School officials claimed some groups harassed and threatened local slaughterhouses, making it impossible for them to accept the animals in a timely manner.

The school made the mistake of telling people what their plans were. They should have just whipped up a pot of "beef" stew and made it the special for the day.
