That's alright because they voted for Obama. Minnesota supports him. Minnesotans would like to see gas at $10 a gallon just like their boy Barry. Maybe than the unemployed would take the bus when looking for low paying jobs.

"Minnesota drivers are paying the highest gas prices in the 48 contiguous states, with the average price statewide running at $4.27 per gallon, according to AAA’s daily survey of gas prices.

Average prices are even higher in the Twin Cities metro area at $4.31 for a gallon of unleaded gas, the report said.

Drivers in Hawaii were paying the highest, at $4.35 per gallon, while those in Tennessee were paying the lowest, at $3.26.

The national average is $3.63."

Well part of it is because of the switch from winter to summer blends, some of it is because of gas hording, some is just higher demand, but the biggest part is that the EPA mandated upgrades and maintenance have reduced local and regional refining capacity. Soon you will see these prices throughout the entire Midwest.

Let us not forget that no one has been allowed to construct a new refinery since the mid 70's.
And last I heard, a refinery in Rosemount closed for no apparent reason along with the other two mid western ones.
