CAPITOLA, Calif.—Authorities are investigating a shooting in Capitola that left a man injured Friday.
Capitola police said three black males shot a white male in his 30s at the corner of Capitola Road and 42nd Avenue shortly before 5 p.m.
Police said the victim, who was shot several times in his upper body, was taken to Dominican with plans to fly him to the Bay area.
Officers said the man was conscious and talking when he got to the hospital.
Police blocked off a small section of Capitola Road, along with the victim’s car, which was parked about 50 yards away in the parking lot of Dharma’s restaurant.
