Flying today?

Nope, 787 may never fly passengers again.

3Ms McNerny is in charge of Boeing, he is a 6 sigma guy who will CUT based on performance.

The 787 is a disaster in the first degree.

I won't fly on a plane designed to burn in flight!!

"The battery rework will take a month or less."

My month started 2/3/13 are you accepting the 50k wager ???

Boeing had submitted the proposal to the FAA on 22 February.

COME ON MOUTH !!! LMAOROTFU~!

"FIX" is the correct term for what Boeing dd to address 2 fires in different 787s. Contrary to the Boeing expert at least one fireman was injured by the Boston fire. Looking forward to the FAA allowing the firebomb to fly and the next fire on a 787.

BTW the "FIX" is to confine additional battery fires in a industrial duty stainless steel box. Once the energy from the next battery malfunction is confined it will explode. So Boeing now has a fire risk going forward they will have an explosion risk.

Still grounded.

IF the FAA and Boeing with Obama's help get it flying and she has one more battery fire.

That could mark the end of the 787.

A "FIX" is nothing but a field modification contrived on short notice to address a serious problem.

In this case an onboard fire is cause to ground an airplane, as is the 787 GROUNDED!!

Even if Boeing, with approval from the Obama FAA, is allowed to fly the 787 and IF it starts on fire ONCE MORE the airlines will stop using the BurnLiner.

Boeing has one shot at getting it right, use it wisely.

Informed professionals are NOT impressed with Boeing's "fix".

They have ONE SHOT.

On more fire during test flights or with passengers and the program is at risk of being terminated.
