Major stadium renovations including a new exterior, a new atrium with restaurants and shops and the new Packer Hall of Fame, new locker rooms, new jumbo screens, new sound system, new entrances, and expansion of seating. Plus the Packers have purchased $27 million dollars in land around the stadium for a new practice facility, baseball stadium, hotel, ect. If the finances get any worse for NFL teams what will they do? I'm convinced the league will fold unless the lockout continues -- NOT!

Despite the Packers best efforts to help their NFL partners make it APPEAR that profits are down, only a moron would buy that lie.

It's pretty bad when they brag about putting backs on their seats. Maybe they should fix the pathetic steps with the 12 inch risers. Or even fix the multiple shades of green around the stadium. They put green everywhere without any kind of UV protection and the stadium looks stupid. I have been to a lot of stadiums in the NFL and MLB and Greenbay is by far the worst. They brag about it like it is the greatest thing on mother earth. What else do they have to do than drink beer and tip cows?

No Vikings fan can comment about any NFL stadium with that dump they play in. That is if the roof holds up.

well, the Packers can do it with their own money and if it makes the stadium more fan friendly and produce more revenue, then why not.Of course while the owners demand a bigger take of the pie claiming they are not making enough money and the Green Bay Packers are expending, that doesnt exactly do the owners claim much good in this lockout does it ( now,Green Bay does not have a specific owner as we all know and they have shareholders and is self surviving) ( meaning no owners to refil the pot if the team runs out of money)so if are going to expend and build other emandities to make the stadium a better place to be and land around it for other things, more jobs ,more revenue and a more and or better experience for all Packer fans who go to the games.

Actually, the Packers have been spending like mad in recent years. It is a good ploy to make it "appear" as if profits are down. The Packers are simply being good to their NFL partners by "cooking the books" in order to gain all the public support that they can.

The Packers can expand, renovate, add new screens, a new sound system, new lock rooms, a new atrium, shops, restaurants, purchase 27 million dollars of land near the stadium, build a new practice facility, a baseball stadium, a hotel, AND sign many players to recent large dollar contract extensions. Anybody that takes a close look at the Packer books knows the team is NOT going broke. But I applaud the team's effort to con the fans into taking the owners side. Bravo! The battle of public opinion is weighted against the owners, so they have to do something.
