Would the emmissions testing program been eliminated if Jessie had NOT supported the termination? I.E. would it have been terminated if Governor Goofy eyes were the Gov?
On 9/11 Jessie held a gathering after the event for the State of Minnesota to support NYC and the USA. It was a large gathering that Jessie led and was a unforgivable event, the only gathering in the country BTW.
It "...was a unforgivable event"??? I remember going to a special church service the evening of September 11, 2001 so I'm not so sure there was not another state that held some sort of gathering that night. You'll need to provide a link to a mainstream, contemporaneous news story that says the Minnesota event was the only one held that night.

Yes, the emissions testing program would have been dropped no matter who was the governor. It was costing the state money to have those emissions testing centers and once they were no longer legally needed they were closed. I don't know if Ventura would have had veto power to keep them open. That's an odd question. On second thought, the only governor I can think of that might have actually worked to KEEP them open is Governor Googly Eyes.(Governor Goofy was Perpich). At the time of the emissions testing centers closing, I don't remember any wacko environmentalists complaining that they should remain open.

Jesse did a very good job. People just try to make him look bad, that's not a conspiracy it's the truth. A lot of people hated him but he did a great job and worked hard.

Jesse single handedly brought both parties together. They united to oppose anything Jessie.

Too bad he was such a baby...

was glad Humphrey came in third in that race!
I can't imagine if that guy was governor. Well maybe I can since we have one like him currently.

If Jessie were Gov now he would have a MILLION Chrisian march on the state capital to marginalize the mooslim march on 9/11.

How soon they forget:

“Organized religion is a sham and a crutch for weak-minded people who need strength in numbers. It tells people to go out and stick their noses in other people's business. I live by the golden rule: Treat others as you'd want them to treat you. The religious right wants to tell people how to live.”

Jesse in Playboy interview and truer words have never been spoken...
