Having read this he obviously was the anchor of a very good family. Condolences to the family, it sounds as if he had a good and full life.

Mr Mauer was an excellent teacher at Hill-Murray and his business law class was one of my favorites. Hello to the class of '77.

Matt - The second paragraph: Mauer, 89, is the great-uncle of Twins catcher Joe Mauer. His son John Mauer Jr. coached baseball at HillMurray School. The Mauer Cup high school baseball tournament is named after John Mauer Sr.

So I would say Yes to your question.

Very nice article. My thoughts and prayers are with the Mauer Family.

RIP Mr Mauer... He was one classy guy. One of the great teachers of Hill-Murray High. He had the respect of his peers as well as his students.

Thank you for a worthwhile article remembering him.

May his soul and all the souls of the faithfully departed rest in peace.

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Cancer

Today's Full Moon will have a powerful impact on your health during the next few months. Maybe this is the spur you need to inspire you to take better care of yourself, such as improving your diet, getting more exercise or finally consulting the doctor about something that's worrying you. It will also be the end of a chapter connected with your work, but don't fret because this ending will lead on to a new beginning.
