Can you say political grand standing? What a bunch of Obamanated crap. DHS should be charged with contempt of congress.(not contempt for congress like me)If they want to save money, take what you have left and haul their asses back over the border to the Mexican side.

If maybe if you stop kissing the as of the rich and make them pay their fair share of taxes and we accrue some revenue we can detain and deport more illegal immigrants.

Maybe if we stopped spending so much money bailing out big corporations and car manufacturers, wall street banks, and foreign countries, we could detain and deport them as well. Maybe reroute those funds to keeping them out in the first place. But this is not about illegal immigrants, it's about poking the dog with a stick because it peed on your roses. Pure political posturing on the part of the Obama administration as they scramble to avoid their own idea from taking effect. And if you want everyone to pay their fair share, abolish the IRS, institute a flat tax or national sales tax or both.

The president is in charge of the government...but the GOP would scream bloody murder if he attempted to circumvent the congress.

WTF? They're not even trying to make any sense anymore.

If the GOP hadn't cut their budget this wouldn't be happening.

You wrong sonny, this is about the republicans posturing to make this country fail,so that they can have a republican talking point for 2016 to win an election.
And they don't have a problem with holding the country hostage for their party goals.

To be the amused slewche, or not to be the amused slewche, that is the question:
Whether 'tis Nobler in the mind to suffer
The Slings and Arrows of the outrageous bushwhacked,
Or to take Arms against a Sea of smart liberals,
And by opposing end them: to die, to sleep
No more; and by a sleep, to say we end
The Heart-ache, and the thousand Natural shocks
That Flesh is heir to?'Tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wished. To die to sleep,
To sleep, perchance to Dream; Aye, there's the rub,
For in that sleep of death, what dreams may come,
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil, will any remember you were once the spell check princess of topix?

The country has already been surveyed, your party bears more responsibility.

A new poll finds that a plurality of Americans is still on Obama's side. Forty-five percent say they would hold the GOP responsible while only 32 percent would blame Obama if the cuts are triggered, according to a survey by the Pew Research Center and The Washington Post. Thirteen percent say both sides would be equally to blame.

I find it so funny that the Feds spend nearly 1 trillion more than they take in every year, but they won't admit to a spending problem. This isn't about Left or Right, we should hold ALL of them accountable for how they spend OUR money. The sequester amount is 2.4% of the budget, yet our personal payroll tax holiday expired meaning we have 2.2% less money in our pockets. Spending needs to be cut. PERIOD! These aren't even truly CUTS as much as they aren't getting a RAISE. If you and I spent more than we earned and spent our raises every year before we get them, would anyone want to continue bailing us out endlessly? They work for US....like any good employer, we should be holding out employees accountable! Pass a reasonable budget and live within it....it's what you and I are forced to do every day, because we can't march into our employers office and force them to pay us more because we can't manage our finances. Rich, poor, or somewhere in the middle, but it's OUR money they're spending, and rarely is it done wisely.

President Obama Put sequestration on the table in order to get Republicans to vote for the budget. They wanted to renew the tax cuts but Obama got his way, the tax cuts were not renewed and the middle class got smaller paychecks starting in January.

The stayement by DHS that they don't have the money to keep the detainees is bulkshit. They had the money to nab them and keep them in the first place. Their budget is not being cut, the increase in their budget is a bit smaller than it was first proposed.

No, our party is just more responsible and owns up to more of its' mistakes. Yours is the party of no responsibility; no fiscal responsibility, no policy responsibility, and no personal responsibility.

If we taxed the 'rich', the top 5% at a rate of 100% and confiscated all of their assets it would run the federal government for about two weeks. Obama ran on a platform of making the rich pay more in taxes when taxing the rich will not balance the budget deficit and it will even more certainly not pay down the debt. Cutting federal spending with tax revenue is the only way out of this mess. Even if the sequestration does occur, it will not include any actual budget cuts, just a reduction in budget increases.

It's about having a balance approach to balancing the budget, just not balancing the budget on workers and seniors, and tax cuts were meant to be temporary anyway, and waddie you haven't been right about any subject since I known you.

Jackwagon.... Instead of "holding" them, they should simply DEPORT THEM, since ICE KNOWS that they are here illegally. You DON'T simply "turn them loose", to try to score political points or secure future votes.

They should be shot by firing squad.
