When a semi-truck makes a mistake it's almost always the other guy who gets hurt or killed.
What did MnDot do to you make you so obsessed?

I saw the sign on Thanksgiving day. I saw the sign and the trooper. I'm not suee there is a problem. An experiwnced trucker would avoid that mess withought the obvious sign.

52 soutbound bridge is poorly signed and a tooper waits at Pato to issue tickets to semis.

This would be a classic MnDOT trap...

Another MnDot trap that used to exist was the one at Hwy 610 & 93rd Ave. The police would note who got into the right turn lane early and as soon as the folks turned the corner, They got ticketed for going over the yellow line.
.
One morning there was about five cars with troopers talking to the drivers of the cars.

Seems to me the best place for a trooper is at a dognut shop dunking same.

Anytime a trooper investigates a fender bender on a metro goat trail (highway) they invariably cause a half dozen additional wrecks because troopers take 2 hours to clear the initial fender bender. And additional wrecks occur in the backup.

Park 'em at dognut shops..

What yellow line?

By the way, 610 and 93rd do not intersect.

When 610 was first built they both did intersect. I used to use 93rd to 610 to visit my parents. A few times I was a house sitter while they went on vacation.

In fact if you use GoogleEarth's timeline feature. go to 1991. And you will see that 93rd Ave did at one point intersect. At that intersection until they extended 610, was the temporary endpoint of 610.

Back in the good old days if ya had a wreck a tow truck would show up and tow the cars and insurance companies would sort out the penny details.

Nowadays a trooper shows with blinding LED lights and by law shuts down at least one lane of traffic AND in many cases the entire goat trail (highway) is shut down FOR HOURS. Of course the unexpected backup on the goat trail causes MORE wrecks and some are fatal wrecks.

Way to go MnDOT!

But wait it gets better, MnDOT has these MILLION DOLLAR electronic signs, primitive HUGE pixels that warn everyone there isa FENDER BENDER AHEAD. These magical messages from METRO TRAFFIC CONTROL remain displayed for hours past when the fende bender is cleared.

MnDOT is just phocked up.

I witnessed a sign warning trucker to not use 52 SB.

It's a fine sign on the right side of I35E BUT there is NO SIGN no the left side.

Sooo, if you happen to be a trucker in the left lane with another view blocking vehicle to the right you WILL NOT SEE the warning sign.

Next stop will be trooper writing you a ticket!!!
