Give me a break! Do a better job in the 12 you have first!
On the other hand I have seen the result of manditory governement service that works well (in Europe). 18 months servce such as police, military, paramedic, etc.
This would give some skills sets needed in the "real world" as well as some growing up time.

Notice, they never report the cost of these programs.
Not everyone is college material. How about if they apprentice, or do something on their own? Government isn't the answer to all your problems.(unless you're a Democrat)

BS, that's what the said about early childhood education. Putting 18 month old babies in pre-school, and spending tens of thousands of dollars to make kids ready for kindergarden. And, these will be the same kids who need a 13th grade.
And as to hates the "cost" of them, I pay more in taxes EVERY YEAR than you have made in your entire, pitiful life, so STFU loser!

Didn't they used to call this "summer school"?

This is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard.
Either that or repeat senior year.

Maybe they can just label Kindergarten as grade 1, then we get 13th grade for free.

Since you have none, according to your logic, you're as smart as nothing/zero.... Pretty dumb perspective, but it's YOURS.

Maybe we should just not worry so much about hurting the kids feelings and focus more on education in basics like math, english, reading, etc.

Maybe, for $20k per student in Minneapolis Public Schools, they should just get the kids ready for college.

No, no no...too logical and useful. They need to be brainwashed first with Global Warming, cultural diversity and white privilege...then if there's any time left, math english and reading.
