The Atlanta Falcons are contributing $800,000,000 to build a new billion dollar stadium.

The Vikings contribute $487,000,000 to their new stadium.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Are YOU happy with the "deal" the Government made?

I'm NOT!!

Add in the FAILED funding mechanism created by the DFL. WHY is a stadium being constructed again?

Who cares, it's ONLY $300,000,000.

Ziggi is a nice guy who has earned the extra $$ from Minnesota taxpayers.

What a phocking joke.

More Democrats than Republicans voted for the billion dollar stadium that is going to be given to the Wilf family by the taxpayers of the formerly Great State of Minnesota.

Plus we had our fearless leader, Gov GoogleyEyes, supporting it all the way through.

It would have made jobs if they (Vikings, Wilfs, NFL) had paid for it themselves instead of bilking the taxpayers and relying on charitable gambling revenue.

It's only a 90+% failure, no wonder Dayton is throwing his hat into the ring again.
Hope his X-wife throws a few million into his campaign fund.

Google Eyes is running again and his campaign strategy will be "I taxed the Rich Guy" and saved the Vikings, which is partly right. He did save the Vikings, who would have moved, in time to another location. The NFL is a revenue sharing league and the owners would not tolerate the lower revenue coming in from MPLS. Now he may claim he “taxed the rich guy”, but , with the short fall from a revenue source for the stadium, which was, at best, speculative, the Stadium will need to be paid by the middle class in the form of new taxes, increased sales taxes, or increased sin taxes. This is the main reason RT is fleeing town. Some heavy duty taxation is about to descend on the voters of Minneapolis and its business’ and it isn’t going to be pretty!!

He can't have the "save the vikings" one. He did nothing to "save the vikings" since they did nothing but bluster about moving. They have made that threat a number of times. They never entered in to talks with other cities except as a PR stunt to frighten legislators.

It is corporate welfare plain and simple.
