Truth is Duluth is unlike any other town.

It's a hill town and a seaport with lots of potential.

Some possibilities:

Trolly cars like San Fran.

A ski hill in the middle of town.

ZIP line from Skyway drive to Park Point.

Duluth has potential except the leaders refuse to make it happen.

Duluth is a city at war with itself. The government and business owners and investors want the city to be a modern city, a metropolis of northern Minnesota. The locals want the opposite, a sleepy small town like the one they grew up in.

The public consistently, quietly but stubbornly resists change here, despite all efforts to bring them into the future.

Plus, the economic policies just draw the scum of the earth to Duluth to draw welfare, assistance, free medical care, etc. The downtown zone is crawling with federally funded drunk and stoned dirtbags that are a constant hassle for everyone. The favorite scape goat is the Last Place on Earth, which sells synthetic marijuana, but the truth is that the criminal element was already here to leach federal, state and city assistance money. The only time the locals aren't outnumbered by dirt bags in downtown is in the summer when the tourists arrive.

The police are overwhelmed and the council is struggling for answers. The public keeps electing liberals who have blinders on.

Democrats ruin everything. Duluth, like Minneapolis, used to be a good place to live. 40 years of Democrat rule will destroy any city.

Duluth is weighed down with way too many government pensions, but that is what happens with generations of Democrats in office.

That would just result in a black market in Wisconsin and Minnesota plates, most are just held on with two screws.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Pisces

It's a big change today after yesterday's combustible atmosphere and you're feeling more relaxed and understanding. You're even prepared to forgive someone for what you thought yesterday was a heinous crime, and ready to give them a second chance. However, let's hope that this person deserves your goodwill and is grateful to receive it.
