Even Red Reamer admits to owning guns, only slewsie is incapable of realizing the responsibility associated with ownership.
Most likely, all the knives in slewsie''space' have been dulled to a butter knife edge. Better safe than sorry.

Sarin gas in Japan.
.
also, found out that a toxin known as ricin is naturally found in castor beans. all one has to do is get enough. find the info to separate the toxin from the beans. and if one has enough of it. can kill a entire group. like one group was going to do in the early 2000 in a London subway.
.
again, no firearms needed.

if someone was very stupid. they could mix bleach and vinegar and create Chlorine gas.
.
thing is, one would need a gas mask to avoid killing yourself while trying to kill others this way.....

Tax all assault weapons and pistols 100% and all ammunition 500% at the State level.
Congress can never do it because it is congress, but blue states and maybe even some red states could tax these weapons and at least make them hard for people to purchase. A high tax on ammo and laws to prevent out of state sales could make states that really want change to finally make it happen.
Tax these weapons and ammo out of existence. It could work since weapons lovers hate taxes.
Being a Nam combat veteran I was on the receiving end of the AK-47 assault weapon and carried and used a M-16 for a year. At the end of my tour I never ever had the slightest inkling to even look at an assault weapon again.
Note since i am a Veteran I do not use the word Gun to describe a weapon. The media and even the N.R.A call them guns. For instance a handgun when I was in the Army was called a Pistol or a sidearm. Gun was only used for machine guns. Gun is used by non-military types. Veterans and active military prefer rifle, pistol, or weapon.
Anyway just my two cents, Tax weapons and ammo to death.
Peace.
GO POUND SAND. I'm a Vet too, and you evidently don't think that freedom is worth fighting for, or preserving. You can *try* to tax weapons and ammo to death, but it won't matter. There is so much of the stuff ALREADY in the hands of citizens, It would take 50 years for the civilian population to use it up, at least. Plus, you have all of the handloaders out there who can reload ammo REALLY CHEAP.

If this is the case, you are an irresponsible hunter.
Without taking the deer rifle to the range just BEFORE Deer season to check it's accuracy, you have no idea if the gun is sighted in.
Comprende?
Let me know where you hunt so I can stay the hell away.
Not necessarily. Some shoot OTHER, cheaper rifles to keep their skills sharp. My father, in his 80's, is a crack shot, and rarely checks the "accuracy" of his rifle, and he rarely misses, even at his current age.

Some people NEED the practice, some don't.

If you ever used firearms you would understand.
The last time I shot a deer I hadn't shot the gun for a year. If the gun is sighted in all you need to do is hold a good sight picture on what you intend to shoot and squeeze the trigger.
In the case of plugging someone in my house with my .308 the first thing I will do is put my ear plugs in and shot the intruder. JUST the report from a .308 within the confines of a house will cause anyone to mess their pants, not to mention the grapefruit sized hole the intruder will have in his/her chest.
I have a lazer sight for home use, place the red dot on the intruders heart and squeeze one off.
Case closed!
Next.
I would suggest a 12 gauge instead, loaded with #4 BUCKSHOT magnum or bigger. No need to be so precise, they are devastating loads, without worrying about what might be in harm's way downrange, especially in an urban neighborhood.
