"The former top Senate staffer and key GOP strategist, who was fired after having an affair with Senate Majority Leader Amy Koch, filed a wrongful termination suit Monday against his former employer that could bring allegations of discrimination, sexual affairs and backroom politics into open court.

The suit threatens to keep the affair -- and the leadership turmoil that followed -- in the public eye for months, just as Republicans are working to put their troubles behind them and make the case that voters should keep them in the legislative majority."

OK all you right wing nuts out there, you know, all you red blooded Republicans that loved MN Democrats Exposed and are all for personal responsibility as long as it's not your person that need to be responsible, let's here a few good arguments for your fellow traveller Michael Brodkorb.

Tell us why an "at will" employee whose boss resigns her position should keep his job? Was Mikey Communications Chair for life?

This whole affair is the best example to date on the morals and principles of right wing kookdom. Even when faced with indisputable facts you can't stop defending an ideology that is as solid as Swiss Cheese.

And that tree better be Oak and the branch about 12" in diameter and even then these two losers would probably sue the ladder company they used to get in the tree if a 300 pound later crumbled under 600 pounds of right wing hyposcrisy.

You right wing nuts so richly deserve these two goof balls...

Is this any worse than Democratic Presidential candidate John Edwards having an affair and baby with another woman while his wife dies ill in bed with cancer?

Well, yes.

Even a scumbag like Edwards did not sue the government for the right to have more sex and illicit children. Edwards got his and Brodkorb will eventually get his; but, only after costing the state hundreds of thousands of dollars to defend a position that if turned around would be the screaming top headline from "MN Democrats Exposed".

The Edwards trial costs several million dollars.

Considering he threatened to expose members of both parties for having affairs, we may just see that headline yet!

Yes moron, it did; but, the difference is that Brodkorb is initiating the trial and I somehow think Edwards would have just as soon done without it. I always thought you right wing kooks hated people who run to the courts and trial lawyers as soon as they think they can make a buck.

John Edwards, as you can likely explain better than me, is a mealy mouth, liberal, make it fair for everybody, litigious weasel. And so is the brain trust of our most recent MN GOP Senate caucus.

Michael Brodkorb and his fleet of trial lawyers are and we will pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to make him go away. Putting a loose cannon like this guy in a position of power and authority is a breath taking lapse of any kind of judgement from the past Senate GOP leadership. What next, Glen Beck as John Boehner's Chief of Staff?

That is not what you said. I ask again, just who are you seeing here supporting him? I have yet to see a single person here supporting his actions, or disapprove of his firing. I personally look forward to him ousting other MN legislatures who have had affairs and see if they will resign.

Deflection? I pointed out that infidelity and that politicianís betrayal of trust is a bi-partisan problem and not just limited to one party.

P.S. How do you get off blaming me for "planting a bad seed"? Seriously how messed up are you to blame a poster on topix for someone else's actions? Do you even see one instance where I supported him?

Still waiting for you to show one instance of me supporting him. What is that? You can't show a single instance?. I guess you better post a few more psycho rants instead.

Well, now were making some progress here. Can we take one more step and agree that putting partisian flame throwers who have a role, no matter how misguided, in things like "MN Democrats Exposed", yet should never find their way to appointed positions of power and authority where they are incapable of anything other than their natural ability to distort the truth to futher their own personel partisian agenda? Clinton had his personal flame thrower in James Carville, yet once elected you did not see him as Chief of Staff or any other appointed position of influence. Amy Koch could have left him where he was and they could have screwed their brains out with only minimal fall out.
