Right now? A caucasian repubilcan male in the white house. This is by far one of the biggest disgraces in our history. And as I said before, it has been an issue for a number of decades. Which means for once, it's not Obama's fault. But it is now under his watch, and it is his responsibility to deal with it. None of this "ask for a resignation" nonsense. Start firing people. I don't think there is one congressman or senatoy who has had the nerve to demand that people be dismissed. And lastly, this money should be coming directly from the military appropriations already in place. Not some new legislation to take even more money from the taxpayers. They will just have to do without a couple new aircraft carriers and a few dozen fighter jets for now. But as we all know, the so called C in C is not command material.

Really? Are you openly hostile to veterans? Do you want MORE of them to die at the hands of YOUR leader?
The VA in Phoenix had and still does have MORE veterans on their secret wait list than they had on their actual wait list. Veterans waited on average 115 days for their first primary care appointment while reporting the wait time as being only 24 days.

Let's get these people some help NOW!
Obama lacks "Sense Of Urgency"! If he was waiting for healthcare for 3 months it would be a different story. I'd agree, as soon as this issue hit the press Obama should have issued an executive order to ALL Vets allowing anyone waiting for care to go to the closest healthcare facility, private or public, and get an immediate appointment. Obama loves executive orders.

Get them to any doctor they want right now, THEN worry about fixing the "process".

At least Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric K. Shinseki has done the right thing and resigned.

WHAT is HOLDER's excuse?

Yes, but only because he was told to resign by Obama.

This is actually a problem and certainly not a solution. Hundreds, if not thousands of heads should roll at the VA. But not one person will be fired. In fact, 20% of the employees at the Phoenix VA were given bonuses.

Only in Obama's eyes do you qualify for a bonus by killing US Vets.

Just as ObamaCare WILL implement Death Panels the VA system IS NOW applying Death Panels to kill off those OLD VETS who are near death anyway. Under the bus they go!!

Obama, "It's not my fault."

Could the real problem be that most veterans are conservatives who love their country? Obama has little use or respect for Americans like that.

If Obama was as concerned about veterans as he is with illegal alliens everything would have been fixed by now.

What do you suppose if Obama's IQ? And of course it would be very interesting to know the IQs of ALL Presidents. Oh that's right we can't even find out Obama's school grades. Poor Obama is a flunky. Of course flunking out of school is no reflection on ones IQ. It is funny his records are sealed, maybe an executive order to unseal 'em.

Sunday morning coffee and the unintended irony of "conservatives". Topix just needs to be unplugged at this point.

Hey, somebody posted something I don't like - let's get rid of it. Yet another example of progressive tolerance.

Nobody said anything about your right to post stupidity on a daily basis. I'm just calling it a waste of time to read it.

13% of the staff at 216 VA health facility sites were instructed in how to manipulate wait-time data to hide delays in medical treatment of veterans.

At least one instance of this type of instruction was found at 62% of the facilities, the audit says.

It seems that they forgot something...

In the VA department’s words, it adopted a far more important mission to “become more energy efficient and sustainable, focusing primarily on renewable energy, energy and water efficiency,[carbon-dioxide] emissions reduction, and sustainable buildings.”

VA facilities have become littered with every scheme to banish carbon dioxide short of requiring visitors to hold their breath. Calverton National Cemetery spent $742,034 on solar panels. Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery spent $787,308. Not to be out-greened, the Riverside National Cemetery spent $1.3 million on its solar system.

At the Phoenix VA Health Care System, where 20 Americans died from incompetence and cover-up, the department spent $20 million putting solar panels on the hospital roofs. That would have been more than enough money to provide the veterans with the health care they deserved.

Whistleblower alleges VA improperly purged benefit applications:

ATLANTA – Federal investigators are probing a whistleblower's claims that applications for veterans seeking health care benefits may have been improperly purged from the VA's Health Eligibility Center in suburban Atlanta.

Eligibility Center program specialist Scott Davis tells the Atlanta Journal-Constitution health benefit applications for more than 10,000 veterans may have been improperly purged from the Health Eligibility Center's national data system in DeKalb County.

Davis began filing complaints in January and said managers were focused on MEETING GOALS linked to the AFFORDABLE Care Act to meet their BONUS targets. He also asked the VA office of the Inspector General to investigate potential fraud involving government contracts.
