OK it's time for YOU to nominate your favorite Government program that in your opinion wastes the most taxdollars.

Ignore the seattle comments.

Private sector programs don't qualify, they don't waste taxdollars and they are out of business if their product fails.

Post the largest scale waste not so much small town waste.

Focus on waste for political gain, they are near criminal.
non-starter

I think federally funded unemployment benefits after expiration of normal unemployment benefits are a problem......as well as the 2% Social Security tax holiday. Both are unnecessary and add directly to the deficit now with little or no future benefit.

I wonder what the unemployment extension has cost the country over the past 4 years, and I know the 2% Social Security tax holiday is making Social Security less solvent today.

While not as widespread and enduring as the above, locally in Minnesota the 1/4 of a BILLION dollar renovation of the St Paul Union depot will be one of the largest wastes of money for nothing.

The replacement bridge in Stillwater at $800,000,000 is one of the most expensive white elephants ever constructed in Minnesota.

The bridge will be used by 19,000 commuters a day which make the subsidy $50,000 for each vehicle.

What a crock!!
