China tells United States: No deal on climate-change agreement

China's climate negotiators have told Western counterparts they can't agree to an "operational agreement" on climate change that President Barack Obama had hoped to bring home from Copenhagen - and will push for a short, noncommittal collective statement at the end of the talks, according to American staffers briefed on the situation. China? You mean the Country that holds our debt now and practically owns us can't agree with our President? There's a surprise - NOT! I guess we will have to defer to China as we don't want to bite the hand that feeds us.

Now if our Government decided to be responsible for the debts we have accrued and decided to make a special effort to be accountable and fiscally responsible, perhaps we would not be so beholden to China. Of course, that will not happen with this Administration, so it looks like Obama better play nice with China.

Is this really a big shock? Why would any sane politician agree to cut back their countries productivity based on lies perpetuated by Al Gore?

They certainly have a rather large financial interest in this Country.

China does own us. We've become a second rate nation now. We don't manufacture very much. Yes, it's now a global economy but it's made the US much weaker.
Try buying your kid a toy that isn't made in China. Truly sad. When are we going to do something about it?

When we vote the current politicians out of office and replace them with people that actually care about this Country and hold our interests first and foremost.

A boycott would be interesting. But too bad that the U.S. is too dependant upon China for manufacturing it's goods.

Even though I am a conservative, I blame our Government, Clinton and G.W. Bush. First, we allowed our Manufacturing to go to China when Governement could have put up roadblocks to minimize Corporate America from shifting manufacturing operations to China.

Second, we jumped into "financial bed" with China and took the Chineese Money to float our debt. This is a very serious problem that could put the U.S. in a war with China should we not be able to repay the debt. Our Government has sold all of us out.

Moreover, Obama and the Democrats need to put a moratorium on spending. All of the recent spending of trillion dollar Stimulus Package, jobs spending and 100 billion for Global Warming Fund is putting our country further behind the financial 8-Ball.

Hold on everyone! Mr. Al Gore needs to send a copy of his documentary "An Inconvenient Truth" to China and everything will be alright. Ha! What a joke! China has more sense than the morons in Washington. Obama, please adjust your seat belt. Your dissent has begun and it's going to be a long, bumpy ride. Hail China!!!

You would not believe what you can find in thrift stores and estate sales...Its a fricken goldmine people throw away better things than are being imported right now. What shocks me the most is this They allow the rich Americans to import the junk from countries that undermine us. They build it, our people bring it in, but yet they wont let a Mexican work here. Go Finger that one out... I am all for a B O Y C O T T

This is the biggest re-distribution program in history. Our "leaders" would like US companies to pay a "world tax" to the UN based on their carbon emmissions to African countries like Chad and Somalia to pay for their suffering because of our productivity! And the lefties agree!
This will ruin our economy, and it's based on lies and inacurate data.
How much of that money will go into the pockets of these corrupt countries? Re-distribution of other's money is the basis of these lefty wackos ideals. Get a grip folks.

The Chineese even know that Global Warming is a sham, a liberal attempt to co-opt political power and more invasively become involved in our live. Please vote Republican in November 2010.

In addition, it has nothing to do with the enviornment. It goes from Global Warming (earth's mean temp has decreased .003% in the last 11 years) to Climate Change. You won't hear that on MSNBC.

Thank You China for stalling this insane effort which is nothing but a hoax to create a world government run by the UN. What is wrong with our liberal politicians that they would support such a plan? This Climate change sham will give the UN the authority to tax US citizens directly. I think we have enough government taxing us already and I don't care to have more taxes. This sham also gives the UN authority over our lives which would further reduce our status as a free nation. Obama and his political cohorts need to be impeached and jailed for treason. They have no right to so severely change American when we the people are repeatedly telling them NO.

It seems that this sham is even too socialist for China to swallow but our liberal politicians are ready to do anything necessary to give away our remaining freedoms.

I have voted primarily Republican all of my life but I'm not so sure I will anymore. Republicans were asleep while the democrats organized to what they have become today. They tried to be a kinder, gentler party in their attempts to appeal to middle of the road voters and that began their downfall. I want to see all existing politicians at all levels of government removed from office. I think this is the only way we can clean the slime away and rebuild our government. No more life term politicians! If we clean them all out of office everytime they come up for re-election we will break their power as well as the power of special interest groups. Bring on the boycott and revolt. Lets roll!

It's a vicious cycle. Many Americans are finding themselves buying "cheap" goods because it's all they can afford right now.
