This is why, in the not too distant future, this country will find itself in a Greece like situation and will implode. We will enter a depression, almost as great as 1929 and it will last at minimum a decade. You cannot continue to spend money you don't have and continue to borrow money at interest rates that continue to balloon the national debt. Obama's plan to bring America back to the rest of the world is working and moron continue to believe and support him!
While I think Obama's policies are leading us down a path similar to this, I don't think his grasp of economics and monetary policy, and just math in general is very good. He has no idea what his policies are going to cause.

No, I think he knows exactly what his policies will do, it will take the US from a prominent position on the world stage, economically, and put us in the same category as Europe. His entire philosophy, his family origin, his publications/books all reveal his outright distain for the rich and powerful. He believes in a socialistic to semi-socialistic society where everyone is equal, no losers. I find it extremely interesting, when one looks at history and the great civilizations of human kind, those that succeeded, were led by talented, extraordinary people, yet this Harvard educated individual can't understand how it works. Michelle made more money until Obama's books started selling as a result of his political career taking off. He made himself rich off the political process and Oprah's book club.

Any way you look at it he is still one of the "evil rich" so despised by the progressives. Unless, of course, they are supporting causes and candidates who favor their platforms. Then being rich is OK. And as mentioned before, since most everyone in congress is rich by their own definition,($250,000 yr or more) they are not going to raise their own taxes without making sure there enough exemptions and deductions to offset the tax increase. Do as they say, not as they do.
