OK. Isn't this wonderful?

First we have privately owned bike rental companies operating and making a living by providing a service and a product to the citizens of Minneapolis.

Next we have the City deciding that they want to put these private companies out of business by Mpls operating a not-for-profit bike rental company.

Now, we have the National Parks Service contributing money in order allow the Mpls bike rental program to expand and put the private bike rental companies out of business.

WTF? Is the bike rental business the same as Police and Fire service for the citizens of Mpls?

What happened to allowing private enterprises to operate on their own?

I guess in Minneapolis, no one but the government is allowed to make a profit. Another reason why $80 million in LGA should not be going to Minneapolis.
