As is typical with his people, Obamalama stopped at a bar, had a drink and hit on a white woman before his meeting.

President Barack Obama talked with Rebekah Erler, 36, of Minneapolis at Matts Bar before going to a town hall meeting at Minnehaha Park Thursday.

Wrong! Obama responded to a whiney liberal who wants the government to pay off her student loan, pay for her babysitter, and make sure she makes a lot of money no matter what kind of employee she is. She has a job and a husband, but still wants a hand-out.
BUT: Obama didn't have an alcoholic drink OR hit on her!

It's all about Government, or my, handouts. Most understand when the Government hands out anything the money doesn't come from the Government it comes from OUR (taxpayers) back pocket. Having had a family of 2 college grads we understand the financial aspects of getting a higher education. First and foremost your kids MUST pick a career, pick one they are qualified for, that will pay for the education needed for the career. It's stupid to get a 4 year degree in basket weaving when it will take 40 years to pay for the education. Once a path to an appropriate job is decided on the next thing to do is educate the student that he/she is primarily responsible for paying for that education. Then provide as much financial support as you the parent can. Take advantage of all low interest loans, scholarships, summer and other jobs the student can work at. Once they graduate and go to work they should be encouraged to live at home, no/low rent, until the student loans are paid for.

Using this technique will result in quickly paid off student loans where the student will be able to start a life and have money to buy things like a house, car, etc...

Of course you can enroll your kid in a private college with tuition of $20K/year and borrow all the money to pay for it while he/she studies arts and end up with owing $80K upon graduation and then whine to Government to pay off the student loan. Seems like that is what the majority is now doing.
