As Biden put it, "you'll see a re-run of the last movie that ended in devastation for so many Americans."

That movie is still playing. Time to end it and get a more satisfying sequel. Less than a month till we starting correcting the Big Mistake of 2008.

Good one, Biden... Use FEAR as a tactic to brainwash people into voting for Democrats. I realize that the Democrats love sheep that Do What They Are Told, but this is just ridiculous.

Biden is a waste of air and space. Minnesota cannot afford the liberal agenda, we can't afford Dayton, who keeps his income out of state. We cannot afford to have taxes raised to pay for all the people who don't pay taxes. I don't have any more to give. I'm living on rice and beans but I am not taking any government hand out. Can you liberals say the same. I doubt it.

The choice is stark alright. A democratically controlled house, senate, and executive who have failed in all their attempts. They have failed in everything except running our country's' debt level to almost insurmountable levels.

Take out the trash November 2010. Make the responsible decision for your kids and grand kids!

Must be desperation time in the democrat camp if they are taking the muzzle off this guy.

The same genius who stated that "we have to spend money to keep from going broke", is back spreading his economic theory.

As was once stated about him: He is out of his depth in a bathtub.

How is this the best that President Barry could come up with for a VP?

I find it ironic that he tries to raise the fears of voters to get them to vote Democratic, when on the same day there is an article on how 3M is dropping health care coverage for retirees based on the horrendous fiasco known as ObamaKare.

I fear the damage done by the Democrats-- the $1 trillion wasted on a stimulus that didn't stimulate, the forcing of Americans to buy a product they may not want, the impending "cap and trade" nonsense.

I fear that this country won't survive another year or two of this wasteful spending. Democrats are running out of Other People's Money, raising the deficit to untold heights. I'm really afraid.

Let's get some conservative principles in there-- not this George W. Bush nonsense, but some good ol' principled discretion to stop the spending and restore a balanced budget, as the Republican Congress did in the late 1990s.

This election IS about the future of our kids (my two-year-old included). Well put, Kevin! Vote responsibly and know why you are voting and what the consequences are, for your children's sake!

I'm sitting in my office listening to the helicopters circle. Apparently Joe Biden is approaching the airport. Since this is nothing other than a political publicity stunt designed to benefit Democrats SOLEY: I propose that the DNC, Macalester College, or Joe Biden himself reimburse Minnesota for his elaborate security detail. Remember what Mark Dayton said, "the rich must pay their fair share."

Biden's speech at Macalester College today focused on the Obama administration's efforts to turn the economy around.

Well, Mr. Vice President, you couldn't have had much to say, because every one of your efforts has had a negative effect on the economony/job growth. Here's a tip on basic economics. The government can not create wealth because by definition, it does not produced anything. Production and the efficiencies therein produce wealth. Every dollar government takes out of the market for other than its basic role (military, police, fire etc) is a dollar removed from opportunity costs required to fuel the economy and second, when it is taken by government for othere than those purposes, is wealth transferred (bad), not earned and it is done so in a hopelessly efficient manner. 28 days left of this nightmare and then we can start taking steps to fix things.........

Tighten up that loose screw, Troy. You may need it come Nov. 2. It's going to be a bumpy ride for you and "yours". I cannot wait for Election Day (2010, 2012). Winter is coming.

Lots of irony in this post, like how we keep hearing about Emmer "the drunk driver" when his opponent is an alcoholic ("Ya, but at least he didn't get busted d'ere ya know") and as you say, voting for Dayton once for senator, where he failed, was a mistake. Giving this guy a second chance at anything is indeed a problem.

The respect for both offices is still there, it's the people currently occupying those offices for whom we have NO respect. Respect has to be earned and these two have nothing to do so.
