A 2012 study by the American Association of Medical Colleges predicts a shortfall of 45,000 primary care doctors by 2020, a result of a combination of factors: the many newly insured; a large aging population (i.e., Boomers), who are more likely to go to the doctor; more docs leaving primary care as reimbursements go down;

Recently I had a discussion with my General Practitioner about what the near future holds under the Totalitarians of the Demokrat Party.

He thinks that he will become more of a "manager" over Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants who will become the NEW Primary Care Practitioners.

Soon, Amerika will have Janitor/Surgeons.

I like Collectivism, African Style.
